While gay marriage has some validity as a federal issue because persons so married could change states, neither birth control nor abortion are federal issues. These are clearly state issues and there is ZERO reason for federal intervention. If a state chooses to allow, or disallow, abortion fine. If you live in a state that disallows abortion and you want one, there's nothing stopping you from going to a state that allows it and having one. Convenience and "accessibility" are nothing but fig leaves trying to make a non-federal issue into one. The same argument could be made for many other things, like firearms. Yet, the same imbeciles that argue for unlimited abortion access often argue for gun control that severely limits access to the purchase and retention of a firearm.

Thus, on abortion and birth control, these are STATES ISSUES HAVING NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!

Screw you, the father should have as much say, as they entered into a basic contract when mutually agreed upon sex took place, she is given all power even though the child is equally his, and he is made to pay restitution if she has i,t and doesn't even involve him in raising it!

Wrong! If it were an equal justice, the man involved would have an equal say. After all, if the woman decides to have the child, he's on the hook for child support. Why shouldn't he have a say in an abortion too?

Abortion is a constitutionally-protected right via the 14th and 9th amendments, both of which protect the right to privacy.

The real reason people like TA hate abortion isn't because of the procedure, it's because no woman would voluntarily conceive a child with someone like him, so the only way his deficient genes can proliferate is if he rapes a woman and she is forced to carry his genetically-inferior offspring to term.
