Putin reeling as FIFTH Russian general killed - one quarter of his military leaders

Makes you wonder if he's pushing the ones perceived as most likely to commit a regime change to the front, and letting the Ukrainians know where to get them.

Nah, Russians aren't that devious, Putin would just send a KGB agent to poison his food, like he does with dissenters.

It's strange that after their published deaths the killed general didn't show up alive in public. So I guess the Ukrainians are correct about killing them.

Keep guessing.

For all you know, they died in a chopper crash or had heart attacks, like the US "heroes" in Vietnam.

You should post your picture on Facebook or something. That would scare him.

That's true. Putin loves him some poison. That's how my friend's father died; to this day they blame Putin, who was a fellow KGB agent at the time.

Maybe some generals lead from the front.

Generals are the brains of an army. Imagine if Patton had his fatal accident before the Battle of the Bulge. When Stonewall Jackson was killed Lee thought it the loss of his best strategic thinker. The Russian was a fool if he led from the front.

We do not know if Russia's generals are getting killed. Take every story you read and save it until proof is provided. Patreus is saying 4 out of 5 are corroborated. I still wait. Russia is overpowering Ukraine at a great cost in treasure and world respect. He will have to shut outside news down for the rest of his life.

Ex-CIA chief explains why six Russian generals have already been killed

FORMER CIA chief David Petraeus explained how six Russian generals "have been picked off" by the Ukrainians as Vladimir Putin's war effort breaks down.
The loss of six Russian generals during the war in Ukraine has stunned experts, with a former US military commander and CIA chief today calling it "very, very, very, very uncommon". Speaking to CNN, David Petraeus said that it was bizarre to have that number of senior generals "just being picked off left and right" by Ukrainian forces. Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, claimed that six Russian generals and dozens of other senior officers have been killed since the start of the Russian invasion.

CNN's Jack Tapper told retired general Petraeus that Russian troops seem to have suffered low morale "and don't seem particularly motivated".

He added: "I may be wrong on this but I seem to recall only one US general being killed in the entire war in Afghanistan."

The former CIA boss responded: "It’s very, very, very, very uncommon for generals to be killed. This is in the first three weeks. And these are quite senior generals.

"The bottom line is that their command-and-control has broken down. Their communications have been jammed by the Ukrainians. Their secure comms didn’t work."

Do you think that eventually NATO/UN/US forces will have to get involved?
Putin came within 40 miles of landing a missile in Poland. I'm not sure at what point the world stops fearing a nuclear war from a maniac? He's not going to stop at Ukraine.

Right now he's enjoying free rein to do whatever he wants, at the expense of his military. He doesn't care about them.

By the time NATO steps in, Ukraine will be an empty pile of rubble.

It matters very little who gets killed. The missiles are killing women and children as the Ukraine military decimates Russian troops on the ground. The infrastructure is virtually gone from the entire nation. Putin will end up occupying cities that can't even sustain a population.
