Oil Drops $30/Barrel In One Week Thanks To Biden

.... which is????? ..... what exactly???

It's wild how liberals aren't really intelligent enough to answer a fucking simple straightforward question.

Not much - and that's the point.

Glad you guys are coming around to the idea that the American President can only have a marginal impact - if any - on global prices. When prices were going up, most of you thought it was all on Biden.

There was no used car fiasco. There were too many cars in America due to insane stimulus by Bush, and Obama solved it.

Health insurance was not nationalized. Millions of people got private health insurance, which is the opposite of nationalizing health insurance.

Bush had GM go bankrupt. It went through a guided bankruptcy, which is better than a complete bankruptcy.

Bush left a problem with deflation (the opposite of inflation). Obama was never able to get inflation up to the target level. In other words, we all wish he created more inflation.

The majority of his cabinet was white.

Obama did nearly nothing with guns.

Shall I go on?
One of the benefits of me having him on ignore, is that you saved me all of those keystrokes.

Interesting... I'd like to learn more about this from you, since I am a stupid dumbfuck republitard... What policy or policies did Biden enact that caused oil to drop $30 in 6 days. I thought that the mantra was that a President doesn't have any control/influence whatsoever over gas prices??? Now all of a sudden a President has that power again??
Duh. The same exact Biden policies that caused the price to go up artificially.

YOU are the communist, moron.

Remind yourself that gas prices were low under Trump ALL THROUGHOUT HIS TERM, not solely after the COVID scamdemic began...
LOL. trump cut domestic production to aid Putin and S. Arabia.

Then Covid hit and demand crashed. When Biden's economy soared, the planned trump oil price hikes came to fruition.

How can Communists not understand that?

Have you noticed the flip side of that coin? Ya know - how conservatives said "Biden, Biden, Biden!" the whole time prices were going up, and said he was responsible for the global spike?

But now, of course, he has nothing to do w/ the decrease.

He did. He dumped oil from the Strategic Oil Reserve on the market. That was only temporary. That reserve is gone.

... WHICH IS???? .... You still haven't answered the question... nor have you cleared your paradox between the OP ("thanks Biden!") and your subsequent posts ("Biden can't control/influence oil/gas prices").
Clearly, this topic is way too complex for you.

YOU are the communist, moron.

Remind yourself that gas prices were low under Trump ALL THROUGHOUT HIS TERM, not solely after the COVID scamdemic began...

Except for the first few months. They were still coming down from the fiasco that Obama caused.

Climate change is an undefined buzzword. It means NOTHING. It is not possible to measure the temperature of the Earth to any usable accuracy. There aren't near enough thermometers to even begin such an analysis.
Silly Commie. Global warming is your strawman. Not climate change.

You must've completely missed his DAY ONE executive order then.........

You will find that Althea regularly discards history...even documented history. Apparently he can't cope with history, so he invents his own.

I've been seeing this more and more among Democrats.

Biden's policies have created a very unfriendly environment for the domestic oil and gas industry.

I see no reason to believe that gas prices will come down below $3/gal anytime soon. If anything, they will likely give $5+/gal a try...
Why did trump push to cut domestic production then?

Shouldn't he have pushed to increase it?

In a way, he did. He used up the Strategic Oil reserve to dump oil on the market to bring prices down. That was only temporary.
Correct, and this goes to show that you are able to answer this question that Althea keeps ignoring.

This also gets into yet another beef that I have with the Brandon Regime... We keep those oil reserves for good reason, and Trump was very smart about getting them nice and stocked up (and doing so in a cost effective manner to boot), yet this evil regime decides to dump a bunch of it onto the market to "bring prices down" (slightly and only for a quick second), yet it is this regime's very own policies that are driving prices up (by reducing the SoA's share of oil on the market).

His continued shutting down of oil development is driving prices up since a lot of oil in the States is off the market.
Precisely.

Federal rules are compelling the refineries to switchover to 'summer' mix gasoline, which has many different varieties for every region. There are a several hundred different mixes required now.
Of course, many of these are in the SDTC. Maybe we should just stop selling them gasoline. They want to outlaw the internal combustion engine anyway.
I agree.

You are saying Republicans were willing to tear down America during the Obama Administration to try to make Obama look bad? Yes, that did happen.

no I am saying Obama's attack on the working class will never be forgotten and we will never recover from it. The disposable income he ripped from the working class should reap him some sort sickness or disease. He is a piece of shit

Prime conditions for solar energy! ;)

There are people around here that actually use solar power. While the clouds scatter and reduce available light, usable power can be obtained from solar panels during the day around here.

It's not much, no more than any other solar power, but it does actually work here during the day.

Solar panels in the desert have damage from wind and sand, hail, critters, and numerous other factors, but here in the PNW they have another problem to cope with: moss and algae. Also, rust from salt air affecting components.

Uh no inflation is not outstripping economic growth.
A nonsense statement. Inflation is caused by printing money faster than wealth being created through capitalism, the only way to create wealth.
Didn’t you read what I wrote? Real gdp growth in 2021 was 5.5% when adjusted for inflation.
GDP includes inflated currency, dude. It also includes government debt.
Also, Presidential metrics consist of more than economic growth,
...such as? Any you want to bring up? Strawman fallacy.
though short term economics and long term growth are two of them.
High inflation on both counts. Next?
Biden has already won the economic argument for 2021.
With high inflation, high gas prices, high food prices, high prices everywhere, shortages everywhere, keeping businesses and people locked down using the fear mongering by Democrats over covid19???!? You call that a 'win'????!? Sorry dude, I would say that most people don't.
If Biden can achieve the metrics for the remainder of his term that he achieved in 2021 he Would win te-election.
Biden was never elected. You can't be re-elected if you were never elected.
That’s a big if. Trump was cruising to re-election till 2020. Had not bungled the COVID-19 pandemic
He didn't. DEMOCRATS created the fear mongering and shut down the economy.
and the Nationwide civil unrest sparked by the George Floyd murder
WRONG. Sparked by DEMOCRATS. It is DEMOCRATS that fund and support BLM and Antifa. Thanks to DEMOCRATS, downtown Seattle is no longer safe. Amazon is moving employees out of downtown for that reason. Downtown Portland, a once beautiful city, now looks like a bombed out Beirut. :(
he would have been re-elected.
You can't be re-elected if you re not elected in the first place, dude.

There was no used car fiasco. There were too many cars in America due to insane stimulus by Bush, and Obama solved it.
You're going to try to ignore this bit of history too, eh? No. Obama required used cars to be converted into landfill, all the while touting 'green'. The result was fucking over the used car market and the recycled parts market.
Health insurance was not nationalized. Millions of people got private health insurance, which is the opposite of nationalizing health insurance.
Obamacare is nationalized health insurance. Fortunately, much of it collapsed pretty quick. The cost of health insurance doubled over that time due to what was left.
Bush had GM go bankrupt. It went through a guided bankruptcy, which is better than a complete bankruptcy.
Bush did not and does not control General Motors. It did not go through a 'guided bankruptcy'. It was nationalized by Obama. As a result, instead of a Chapter 11 or Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceed and let competent managers buy an auto manufacturer cheap, Obama kept the incompetent ones in place and added government oversight to it, by bureaucrats that have never built a car. I call it Government Motors now.
Bush left a problem with deflation (the opposite of inflation). Obama was never able to get inflation up to the target level. In other words, we all wish he created more inflation.
There was never any deflation. The depression over the last couple of years is caused by Democrats, though.
The majority of his cabinet was white.
Irrelevant. Obama was and is racist.
Obama did nearly nothing with guns.
Except try to ban and limit them.
He turned out to be the best gun salesman ever (until Biden).

Turns out people want guns to defend themselves from a rogue government and criminals.

You poor, poor little Communist.

There IS NO Keystone XL. But you did illustrate the problem with Communists in this country.

WTF is wrong with you?

The Keystone XL pipeline project was canceled by Biden.
The pipeline would've created an important terminal in Montana, where oil from the Northwest could be piped to refineries in Texas.

Instead, numerous trucks and trains have to carry that oil, a far more dangerous method.
