Hey. You and I are aware of Biden's accomplishments. The base is also. The issue in any election is Independents like myself. Unfortunately, it also includes the so called Progressives that are only interested in free shit. You hear constant complaining from the House Progressives. Rather than put out a message of unity, and pointing out that we need to get the Senate in the face of massive voter suppression efforts, they just complain about the failure to ram through their pet projects.

What do they honestly expect with no Republican support for issues that they actually want, and a fruitloop in Arizona who is owned by Big Pharma? Who in this nation believes that negotiating drug prices is bad, save for the Big Pharma whore Sinema?

We have unanimous agreement to waste billions overseas on weapons, but the child tax credit extension was a bridge too far for Manchin?

Dems are doomed. It has nothing to do with giving up. It has to do with the fact that they don't have a majority in the Senate, and it looks like they won't next year either.

Disagree. Independents are mostly Democrats. Do you know any Independents in the Senate who caucus with Republicans? What is a conservative Democrat? One who fast tracks defense spending, while cutting programs that feed children? (Manchin)

Basically what I've been saying. Indies are pretty vast in their reason for being so. Those who are typically Bernie Bots are unhappy about not getting their free college yet. People in the younger AOC type camp, want to hear about defunding police.

Both moronic policy positions.

They account for the poor approval numbers because many come from the 'everyone gets a trophy' mindset.

Intelligent, mature Democrats and Independents knew on the day before the insurrection that winning those two Senate seats meant nothing as long as Manchin was still seated.

He hasn't surprised anyone.

In '16, it was the same Bernie Bots who brought us President trump. They were warned about the Supreme Court. They didn't care. Now they can sit home again and suffer greater consequences as Congress continues the decades long gridlock where nobody benefits but lobbyists.

Wrong. Independents are independent. They don't want to be in either major party. Who they vote for doesn't make them Democrats or Republicans. Independent politicians, in congress at this time, caucus with the Democrats, but that doesn't make them Democrats. Many third party politicians on the Left and radical Left run on the Democrat ticket however, even as they retain their third party membership.

In times past, there wasn't that much difference in the parties. Both parties loved America and wanted to defend its values. Now, it's the conservatives who want to defend our values and our country vs. the far left, Socialist Democrat loons who are actually destroying our country and its values.

I want nothing to do with those who are intent on destroying Capitalism, religion, free speech, and our American values. The US Senate actually has a Socialist who is supported by the Democrats. Patriotism is a dirty word to these Democrat Socialists.

I don't wish to debate them...I already know what they stand for, the destruction of our way of life.
