WASHINGTON — After offering her customary lavish praise of President Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi got to the business at hand at a White House meeting last month on the midterm elections.

Democrats, Ms. Pelosi told Mr. Biden and a group of his aides, need a more succinct and consistent message. The speaker, who has long been fond of pithy, made-for-bumper-sticker mantras, offered a suggestion she had heard from members: Democrats deliver.

Yes. Democrats have delivered record high gas prices, inflation, foreign policy catastrophes, soaring violent crime rates, etc.

Pres.Moron "succinct"?
:rofl2::rofl2:

Demmycrats deliver.....

.....Afghanistan to the Taliban
.....Ukraine to Russia
.....Iranian and Venezuelan oil to America
.....inflation to all of us

What better midterm message can he deliver? That he's resigning because of health issues and Harris is taking over? That's a train wreck. That he's taking responsibility for everything being fucked up? That's a train wreck.

As for a message like "Democrats deliver," that'd become a meme in a nanosecond.

Slap "Democrats deliver" on that, and it's gold...

The Red Tsunami is coming. It cannot be avoided.

The Red Tsunami is coming. It cannot be avoided.

There is a reasonable chance of a red ripple in 2022, and that could tip the tide of power, but a red tsunami is impossible.

Republicans are talking about winning enough Senate seats to remove Biden, which would be 67 seats. To have 67 seats, they would need to win 38 out of 35 Senate elections. Do you see a problem with that?

I figure the House will be massively turned Red. Senate? I suspect 4 to 5 in the Republican's favor. That's short of 60 but enough to make it possible with a couple of Democrats to get anything through.

Only 14 Democratic Senate seats are up for election. To win 5 of them, Republicans would have to win 26 out of 35 elections, or almost three quarters of them. All this with candidates who are constantly being stuck in scandals.

As for the House, gerrymandering can only get you so far. Republicans may win the majority, but not by much... And that is just a maybe, and assuming all their gerrymandering works out.
