I read they import unrefined oil, refine it here and then resell it. That could account for the porfit while still having to deal with inflation here
That's got nothing to do with inflation.

Orange man bad!
The Interstate System is the safest road system in the country, with a fatality rate of 0.8—compared with 1.46 for all roads. Yet that same system has the highest speeds in the nation. There is no correlation between speed and getting into accidents. Yes, if an accident does occur for other reasons--failure to yield and inattention being the leading causes--speed plays a role in the severity of that accident. But speed alone is rarely the cause of an accident.
At current highway speeds, it takes me roughly 2 hours to drive to Tucson (~150 miles), about 3 to Flagstaff (~200 miles), and 6 to Los Angeles. If forced to drive 45 mph those times roughly double. That eats into both work time and turn-around time such that those trips become far more expensive because of lodging, loss of work time, etc. 45 mph is insanely stupid as a highway speed.
Write a bill that says anyone that voted for Brandon for President has to pay $100/gal.
That means no one will have to pay $100/gal since no one named Brandon was on the ballot.
You guys are so stupid with your childish name calling. When are you going to grow up and be an adult?
The shittiest thing about Donald Trump is the fact that you're going to have to continue answering for him, long after he's dead.
So get used to seeing his name as much as you see Bush the Dumber's, because you're going to have to defend that shit for the rest of YOUR PATHETIC LIFE, not Trump's.
Back in 1974 we lowered speed limits to 55 nationally to save gas and it also caused highway fatalities to immediately drop by 9,000 a year. It's a great idea but the auto industry opposes it and they pay the media to brainwash the moron american into thinking he a has the "right" to drive 80 mph. Car crashes mean car sales.

Poor Dick, the guy is totally humourless.

We all could just walk.
So you now admit speed makes car crashes worse??? Glad i finally got you straightened out on that.
But are you 24 hours from Tulsa?

Forget about the amount of time it takes you and instead focus on the COST it takes to fill up your tank.
Oil companies are price-gouging and blaming non-existent inflation as they make billions in record profits.
STFU you fucking moron!
Go turtle your ass down the road, motherfucker!
only if one hits something, slowing cars down and putting them in a pack gives driver fewer escape routes, how about keeping all slow cars off the interstates, free up the passing lanes.
HAHAHAHA. I love to watch matt dildo explode every time i call him/her a tranny. Maybe you should marry Big Mike. HAHAHA

You're a dipshit moron. The government makes more off of gas than the producers and sellers do.
