Thousands Quit AARP Over Health Reform

Obama is still too new, and Clinton, well, he didn't fight science.
So Obama gets a pass even though he's broken campaign promises already and folks were smart to vote for Clinton because you like Clinton. Does that sum up your position?

No

Slick Willie amuses me

Bush was not amusing, Obama hasn't been, either and he has disappointed me on several counts.

I truly hope not, it means failure for Americans and we can't take much more!

This is what I find utterly fascinating about the neocon driven GOP's campaign to screw Obama.....what are they offering as an alternative?

They want everyone to forget the S&L scandal, Enron, the Wall St. fiasco that was exposed (and bailed out) during the Shrub's last term, the HMO's that deny coverage that has resulted in death, or limited coverage that resulted bankruptcy...and pretend that the very people who screwed you over are going to suddenly straighten up and fly right.

Yet all indications are that's just not the case.

Hell, you have the left wing spitting nails that Obama's actions in the last 7 months do very little to deter some major points on the financial front....and now it seems the neocon/insurance company scare campaign has made points in preventing any real health care reform.

So then we're back to square one if they "win". How f***ed up is that?

Hopefully Obama's impending massive failure will lead America back to its intended place: a small, limited federal government dedicated to protecting the States from foreign adversaries and invasion and fostering free markets among them.

You have to be a real dumbass geezer to do this.

And they are in good company. The people that the insurance companies have managed to manipulate to drive this debate leaves me in awe every time. Conservatives are just very easily manipulated:

" That point couldn't have been made clearer than by the man standing in line to get free care at Remote Area Medical's recent health care "expedition" at the Wise County, Virginia, fairgrounds, who told a reporter he was dead set against President Obama's reform proposal.

Even though he didn't have health insurance, and could see the desperation in the faces of thousands of others all around him who were in similar straits, he was more worried about the possibility of having to pay more taxes than he was eager to make sure he and his neighbors wouldn't have to wait in line to get care provided by volunteer doctors in animal stalls"

Yeah, because that's exactly what happened under Reagan and the Bush family!
