Russian Vodka

I love a good Bloody Mary. Cranberry and vodka is also very refreshing.

Your input is duly noted. I just can't.

Last time I drank Vodka cranberry I flipped up the highback chair seat cushion and peed in it in the middle of the night.

It held it all. :palm:

That was well over a decade ago. I am self-cut off.

So, hard liquor is not your friend, I know others like you.

Couldn't answer a legitimate question, huh? Oh well, it's to be expected...

Gasoline fires are hazardous too. Natural gas fires are hazardous; should we fear those vehicles too? Lots of things are hazardous. First responders train for them all.

You'll need another excuse to hate on EVs. lol

Da, comrade!

I could have sworn it was Bud Light. :dunno:

I'm old enough to want a Michelob and not be able to find it

You are the one who claimed only Russians and gutter-dwelling winos drink vodka.

You don't have to thank me for correcting your misperception.

Even if you didn't know vodka was America's top selling liquor, you can't walk into any store that sells alcohol without noticing the shelves have more brands and quantities of vodka than practically other liquor.

I never said I hated them. I just said I wouldn't buy one.
And, an electric Mustang? Blasphemy!

But back on topic, I hate vodka. Back when I was 20, I
took a bottle of vodka to a New Year's party expecting
someone else to bring some orange juice. No one did, so
I drank a little over 3/4 of it myself. I thought I was dying
the next 2 days. I never drank it again.

I rarely walk into liquor stores.

Guess I don't have to worry about seeing Dutch there trying to be on the DL.

That would do it. It's a miracle that it didn't kill you.

I thought I was going to die for a day or two, but got over it

But worse than that, I got alcohol poisoning drinking a fifth of ginger brandy and a fifth of schnaps one night. Seriously, that damn near killed me. I thought I was going to die for a week! I didn't drink liquor for 5 years after that!

Crackers don't drink potato liquor, baby. ;)

Okay, but here outside the bible belt liquor is sold in grocery stores and drug stores. Even teetotlers cannot help but having a passing appreciation for the quantities and brands of vodka being marketed and sold.

See above post.

They don't sell Old Cuban man strawberry wine by the gallon in grocery or liquor stores.

But I used to get 2 every couple weeks. I reckon I did a favor for the dude and that's how he chose to repay me.

Every two weeks 2 gallons of Old Cuban man Strawberry wine. Like clockwork.

It was good, but I gave it to the wimmens. Wine is too acidy for me.

To be honest I have been a Smirnoff vodka drinker for a long time, but I think its American made, so it might be safe.
I bring Smirnoff to parties. It's inexpensive. My Ukrainian friends love it. When I'm on a budget I buy Stolichnaya, but I don't drink often. When it's on sale, I prefer Grey Goose.

There are a few small distilleries making some good products. I do buy locally, but a lot of it isn't as smooth as GG.

I think the answer is to drink it with nothing but ice ;)
