It was going on when I was a kid in Massachusetts. My elementary school did a "mock" election during the '68 campaign, and our teacher "educated us" on the pros/ cons of both candidates. Out of a class of 30, 29 of us voted for Humphrey. Then kids ridiculed the one girl, Sally, who voted for Nixon. This went on for several minutes and I stared at the teacher, who did nothing. That was my first lesson in how Democrats work and that lesson stuck with me.
When my son was in HS I always queried him about his classes, especially in American History. When the civil rights era came up we had many discussions about how the text book omitted certain key details. His teacher told him that the two political parties "switched" during that era so we dissected that lie with actual history. Then for fun we looked up his teacher's party affiliation on the state website, and it all fell into place for him.
So basically, your stupid theory is full of shit.

I have no real problems. I have challenges, of course, like everyone else.
In fact, I don't discuss things as problems. I try to offer solutions to problems that do exist, by laying my cards out on the table so everyone can see them.
I don't expect anyone to agree with me and I listen to other's solutions to problems, as I know mine is just one perspective- MY OWN!

I'm good with the verbiage but still fail to see the actual challenge, problem, cards, whatever here. An offense was committed and it was addressed, IMO, in a fair way for a 1) new rule and 2) first offender.
If you think he's stupid enough to do it again, which he probably is on a late Friday or Saturday night, you might have the opportunity to walk him to the edge of a cliff and then watch him step over of his own accord. All it takes is a little foresight and patience.
