Yes I think that is in the right ballpark.

What I won't do is join you in proclaiming that world religions are unrelentingly evil, universally corrupt, always terrible, always wrong, and have never done a single, solitary thing to improve the human condition.

I cannot join you in that premise because it would make me intellectually dishonest.
 
I have trouble dealing with broads myself, but I at least make the effort.

Somebody with a lot more hair follicles than myself sired my avatar, for example,
but I'm the one who served as her chew toy when she had milk teeth.

I'm also the one who has to stay up for the day when she's curled up on my pillow when I get back from the bathroom.

Still, for all the challenges I've had to face on account of both she and my biological daughter,
and my sainted mom chipped in quite a bit with that as well, not to mention aunts and former girlfriends,
nothing compares to what I've had to endure at the hands of the Gestapo.

Her survival into her seventies is the evidence required for my canonization to sainthood, atheist or not.

Churches do a lot of good in their communities, and almost always free. I went to one.
Yes, there's the rich "Evangelists," I would like to see those records of where the money really goes.

Jesus, by first century AD standards, taught charity and compassion. His apostles said that christians should try to emulate Jesus.

The fact that countless church leaders and laypersons engaged in lying, murder, cheating was a choice. Saint Augustine wrote that God imbued humans with free will, to sin or not to sin.


On the flipside, Medieval monasteries were one of the few places in medieval Europe a starving person or homeless child could frequently find food or shelter.

I wrote my list of what I consider the negative and positive impacts of Christianity to western civilization were.

I have yet to ever see you even attempt to be marginally balanced and analytically detached.
