I would think crying would not be beneficial, you are suppose to be a police person with 25 years of experience, making rational, not emotional decisions, but that is just me. I imagine she feels very sad about the death, but a police person can not make mistakes like using a gun thinking it was a taser. A 25 year veteran should not make those mistakes.

I saw the video of the shooting.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tX3qkfCb9s
And of her reaction AFTER the shooting.
It was obvious that she did NOT mean to shoot the guy with her gun.
And she felt GIGANTIC remorse.
Anyway, the guy she shot was 'running' from the police.
When I was a 'naughty' boy back when?
I assumed that if I EVER ran from the police?
That they would shoot me.
And I would not have blamed them if they had - had I ran.
When a police officer orders you to freeze.
You fucking freeze.
I hope she gets off COMPLETELY of the manslaughter charges.

The best way for black perps to not get shot is to stop acting like lunatic jerks trying to escape justice.
Like this?
Look at the cop that killed George Floyd?

Maybe if you didn't resist arrest you just might not get killed when you try to flee with a cop in your doorway possibly injuring or killing the cop. Just a thought..new defense for white folks..........all white juries will relate to you.

Naw she will get off because he was fleeing with a cop hanging in the door of his car. That could lead to serious injury or death of the cop. That justifies the use of lethal force. I'm sure she intended to taz him but she could just as easily shot him and be within her rights. The bottom line is resisting arrest is stupid.Your racist rant aside, I doubt she'll get off. My guess is 5 years serve 2. She killed a man. She didn't intend to do so but her actions caused the death of an innocent person and she must pay the price for her mistake.
I'm good with an opposite day.

I would think the COMPLETE opposite.
Cops that do not give a shit are a dime a dozen.
Cops that care are fairly rare.
At least, when I was younger.
And as someone that used to get in trouble with the law?
I would have REALLY appreciated being arrested by this woman.
Rather than some control freak cop who hates all perps.
I once was arrested by a cop for running away from him in my car at 3am.
(I drove away because I thought I was over the drinking limit and I saw him in the distance and thought I could lose him).
The entire 'chase' was 20 seconds...if that.
And I stopped the car because my boat could not possibly evade the police cruiser.
I hit nothing.
No one was around.
I just gave up.
Plus, my friend was not willing to get out and run with me.
So...That was that.
I stopped and got out of the car and waited for the cop to arrive - with my hands on my head.
Anyway, this cop went ape shit.
I was VERY polite with him (I ALWAYS was with police - no reason not to be).
And he hated my guts from that moment on.
When we got back to the 'cop shop' and they gave me a proper drunk test - I was just under the limit.
And the cop went bad shit crazy.
Yelling and screaming and FURIOUS that I was not over.
You'd have thought I just ran over his grandmother.
I SURE would have appreciated this woman arresting me rather than that psycho.
Showing kindness and emotion does NOT make you weak.
It just makes you human.
