And he admitted violating the Travel Act, which forbids the use of a cell phone to promote illegal activity, McSwain’s office said.

Imagine a scenario where you claim with no evidence that your computers antivirus system hacked your bank accounts and transferred your money to a Swiss bank account. You make the claim over and over and over. The company sues you for defamation because YOU NEVER ACTUALLY LOST ANY MONEY. If proving the software is not susceptible to modification would or could be necessary to make the case this obviously didn't deter the company from bringing the case. But it would not have to be proved. Dominion needs only to prove that Fox had no reliable information for its reporting that the software was manipulated and manipulated in a manner that cost Trump votes but repeatedly made that reporting and claims based on that reporting anyway, to the detriment of Dominion. That probably will be a prima facie case Dominion will make fairly easily. It will then be up to Fox to prove that it did have sufficiently credible information.

I've noticed that few, if any, of the Reichwing claims of fraud come with verification from credible sources. You're right; they hear something that resonates with their bias, and they dutifully repeat it.
