Fox will shell out over a billion dollars, Dominion defamation suit given green light

They are the victim here. Dominion merely supplied voter machines that were examined and found fair and honest. Giggle gigle. they have nothing to hide. They have been open since trumpies made this shit up.

what did the demmycrats say about Dominion voting machines in 2016?......

If they turn over all electronic/paper communications during discovery, it might shed light on a plot to fabricate/spread the disinformation, instead of just 'reporting' it from other sources.

It might be something that shows up in discovery even though they admitted to being 'wrong' in their reporting already.

so you are fishing?......

Given that Dominion is going after numerous players, they might get tens of millions from each, if they can show actual damages in their books.

they should pay Fox.......haven't all the demmycrats complained states have to buy all new machines because the auditors touched them?........sales have doubled......

:rofl2: So the "educated" love to be lied to. :rofl2:
That's classic right there.

The educated don't all flock to the same place for information.

The under educated all flock to Fox for confirmation bias.

Spongebob's ratings blow Fox out of the water.

If we're only going to examine numbers.

Add to that the fact that the only voter fraud uncovered so far, is that of Republicans voting more than once, and dead Republicans voting.

You know...everything they've been telling us has happened.

odd.....a Google search revealed thousands.......here's an interesting one that shows how its done, though admittedly it predates the national election.....

A former judge of elections and Democratic committeeperson from South Philadelphia has pleaded guilty to accepting thousands of dollars in bribes to inflate the vote totals for three Democratic candidates for Common Pleas Court judge in 2015, and for other Democratic candidates for office in 2014 and 2016, U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain announced Thursday.

Domenick J. DeMuro, 73, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for the judicial candidates and for other candidates seeking office in the 2014 and 2016 primary elections. And he admitted violating the Travel Act, which forbids the use of a cell phone to promote illegal activity, McSwain’s office said.

“Voter fraud is virtually non-existent,” said George Christenson, election clerk for Milwaukee County in Wisconsin, where five people statewide have been charged with fraud out of nearly 3.3 million ballots cast for president. “I would have to venture a guess that’s about the same odds as getting hit by lightning.”

didn't Biden win Wisconsin by 21,000 votes?.....

... IN COUNTY COURT ...

to be fair, that is where the lawsuit has to happen.......its not a matter for federal case jurisdiction.......proper venue is the county of residence and I assume they are in Delaware because its a Delaware corporation.......

Not on your best day or my worst. You are completely incorrect doc. At issue is whether Fox News had evidence AT THE TIME THEY MADE THE CLAIM. You can’t make up something about a company’s intellectual property and then sue them to see it you fucking moron.

if the claim of Dominion is that their software is not susceptible to modification they will have to release the coding to prove that........unavoidable......

Damn PMP went full tilt. I have a whole page of hidden messages. Dominion will not have to turn over any code. Suggesting otherwise is galactically stupid. Imagine a scenario where you claim with no evidence that your computers antivirus system hacked your bank accounts and transferred your money to a Swiss bank account. You make the claim over and over and over. The company sues you for defamation because YOU NEVER ACTUALLY LOST ANY MONEY. Any fucking moron would know that the software code was not germane to your claim because YOU LIED ABOUT YOUR MONEY. Fuck you people are stupid.

They have already proven that. There were a bunch of machines that got sent to a recycler because of an insurance claim. The recycler sold them on EBay There was a hacker convention that hacked Dominion machines. They have also proved Dominion machines were attached to the internet during the election.

Okay then. Show us some links from credible sites that verify your claims. Thanks.

If proving the software is not susceptible to modification would or could be necessary to make the case this obviously didn't deter the company from bringing the case. But it would not have to be proved. Dominion needs only to prove that Fox had no reliable information for its reporting that the software was manipulated and manipulated in a manner that cost Trump votes but repeatedly made that reporting and claims based on that reporting anyway, to the detriment of Dominion. That probably will be a prima facie case Dominion will make fairly easily. It will then be up to Fox to prove that it did have sufficiently credible information.

Virtually nothing that people keep repeating when it comes to potential fraud or illegal behavior is true. None of it. It has all been explored at length, and none of it has held up to investigation or the courts.

People just keep repeating it. None of it is true. I welcome all of the scrutiny that everything is getting. The more that comes out, the more it's clear that the only reason anyone believes there was fraud is because a pathological liar said so.

I've noticed that few, if any, of the Reichwing claims of fraud come with verification from credible sources. You're right; they hear something that resonates with their bias, and they dutifully repeat it.

When your guide is blind faith this is how it goes.

Which information they cannot demand after the fact.

If they cite sources at all. Most do not.

Exactly. If you could companies would just sue their competitors and steal their trade secrets. It’s just so damn stupid. Plankton would have the crabby patty recipe by just going to court.

Fox News loses bid to dismiss Dominion's $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit

Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Fox News Network on Thursday lost an effort to dismiss a $1.6 billion lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems Inc, a voting machine company that says the television network defamed it by amplifying conspiracy theories about its technology.

In a written ruling, Delaware court judge Eric Davis said Dominion had sufficiently alleged it was defamed by Fox News' election coverage and the case should proceed toward trial.

hit Rupert where it hurts mo$t

the trial will now take place, the motion to dismiss would have closed the case with no trial. What you libs need to fear is the truth about the election coming out in this trial. This is not a win for you dim libs.
