As democrats, I think it is now time to quit demanding that people get vaccinated

those vaccines worked

these do, too, idiot, or the infection rate, hospitalization rate, and death rate for the vaccinated would be so many times less than for dumbfuck unvaxxed dumbasses. get it? IT IS NOT PERFECT, BUT IT IS OUR ONLY HOPE TO KEEP OUR HOSPITALS OPEN, OUR ECONOMY OPEN, AND HAVING AS FEW DEATHS AS POSSIBLE.

It really isn't the only hope, but I get what you are saying. I urge everybody to get the vaccine because it would give them a better shot to survive the virus if and when they catch it. But as long as we have the ability to tell government to suck on it when they try to become dictators we will have folks that are not willing to do what you want them to do. The best way to make sure it happens that folks tell you to suck on it is by politicizing it, trying to mandate it, telling them they must do what you want right now or be pariah. Your very actions cause the reaction you are seeing among that population. If you actually want them to get the treatment you want, you have to curb your desire to tell them how "superior" you think you are.

those vaccinations worked and eradicated the diseases.
China Cootie ones work a little... sometimes... maybe...
significant difference when science is driving the bus and not politics.

Considering this group is nothing but a group who thinks their rights are more important then the lives of our family's and our friends. It is time for us to let them have their way, for obvious reasons there is no better thing that we can do for the future of our democracy in this country/

Yes mind your own business!

no, dumbass, they do not work, sometimes. they work. read something, or have some passing 3rd grader read it to you. you are too stupid to understand, apparently.

fuck them. comply or get left behind. how simple is that? do you want to try and talk drunk drivers into not driving drunk or do you want to lock them up if they get caught PUTTING OTHERS AT RISK....they can drink at home, unvaxxed morons can stay home. same difference.

Sounds good, but in reality creates more problems for others, provides Covid with more fertile hosts to infect and spread consequently allowing time for Covid to mutate further

Better strategy would to be banning the unvaccinated from everything, no proof of vaccination, no entry, time they stayed home while the rest of us enjoyed life

You mean -- like they told US to do when masks were required everywhere? How ironic!

Again, if your goal is to get them to actually do it you would change how you approach it, your actions tell me that what you want is what is because your actions net the opposite to compliance among the folks you are supposedly trying to reach.

Pretty much, how you act tells me you don't actually want them to get vaccinated, you just want to feel superior. How's that working for you?

I agree!

As democrats, it is also time to quit crying about Trump.

As democrats, it is also time to quit canceling people with views that differ from Democrats.

As democrats, it is also time to quit denigrating half of the population that voted for Trump.

As democrats, it is also time to quit falsley calling January 6th an insurrection.

As democrats, it is also time to quit claiming America is systemically racist.

As democrats, it is also time to realize what a corrupt, lying, incompetent, mentally challenged fool Biden is.

I have read about it.
People test positive after multiple sticks.
People develop symptoms up to and including hospitalizations and death after multiple sticks.
People develop symptoms up to and including hospitalizations and death even after multiple sticks AND having bouts of symptoms a previous time.

Polio and measles disappeared in this country until we had 3rd worlders come here bringing their diseases with them.

before vaccs, masking and social distancing worked. even cold and flu rates were lowered dramatically...duh. almost like science actually solves problems. not stupid shit gut feelings.

me putting on a seatbelt, or not, has no affect on you or anybody else but me. same with losing weight. stopping or mitigating the hell out of a pandemic virus is on everybody, and it affects everybody, if you get out in public at all. not even the same deal.

Granted running around being contagious during a pandemic *does* affect a lot of people. But so does surviving a car accident as a quadriplegic because you didn't wear a seatbelt -- who's going to pay for your care for the rest of your life? If you have an unhealthy lifestyle and require frequent medical intervention -- why should the rest of us have to pay higher insurance premiums to cover your shitty decisions? Making poor choices doesn't always affect only that individual, but his/her community. Same with refusing to take any mitigation/prevention measures during a lethal pandemic.

I'm with the concept that fine, it's your choice. But don't expect to be able to participate in anything we vaxxed ppl can do -- no more going to bars unless they have a special Leper Hour, no more movie theaters, sporting events, dining out, sending your kids to public schools, no more flying or using other public transportation, etc.

Actually it would be on us if they don't wear seatbelts. Who wants a flying body crashing into their windshield, killing their loved ones?

And who wants to pay for the extremely expensive lifelong medical care for the same retard who manages to survive, but is a vegetable?

You seem to love dumb, moronic analogies. Why is that? So if you are vaccinated, how are you at risk from those who choose not to? When the recovery from this virus is around 99.8%, how are the unvaccinated at risk? :palm:

the polio vaccine had doubters, too, was not 100% effective, did cause a few harmful side effects to some. idiot. NOTHING IS PERFECT...

from a 1957 magazine article-

Complicated comparisons of total and paralytic cases and of epidemics of polio from year to year would be completely unnecessary if it could be shown that children who had received complete vaccination—three polio vaccine injections at the recommended time intervals—would not be seriously attacked by this disease. Unfortunately, this is not so. In 1956 there were over one hundred vaccine failures reported from various parts of the United States. Some of these patients have had severe paralysis and at least two have died. Since there is no way of counting the number of children who had complete vaccinations by the beginning of the 1956 polio season, it is impossible to tell how important this group of cases really is in evaluating the effect of the vaccine.

The early experiments in 1954 and 1955 had already shown that the vaccine was not 100 per cent effective. In 1954, using the original Salk vaccine, the controlled field trial reported by Dr. Thomas Francis showed that the vaccine protected some children against disease from all three polio virus types, including the most common epidemic type, Type 1. In that study, one half of a group of children received polio vaccine and the other half were injected with material which looked the same but which contained no vaccine. For the important Type 1, the vaccinated group had 65 per cent fewer cases of polio than those receiving the dummy material. In 1955, when the vaccine was distributed only through State Health Departments in such states as New York and Massachusetts, it was still possible to separate the children who had been vaccinated from those who had not, and here again, the vaccine was beneficial. The decrease in paralytic cases of Type 1 varied in these studies from 80 to 75 per cent.
