That's not what happened, you lying asshole. Arbery got to the front passenger quarter panel of the white pickup truck. Travis was pointing his gun at Arbery. Had Arbery run 3 more steps forward Travis would have shot him. Had Arbery frozen in place and asked the Klansmen if they needed a boot shine Travis would have shot him.

Now, both scenarios are speculation, of course. What we do know is that the white bois had already falsely imprisoned an innocent man and decided to threaten him with deadly force. They had already broken a number of laws while Arbery had broken one -- a misdemeanor that isn't subject to the thing called a "citizen's arrest" that no longer exists. In Arbery's act of self defense, what you call a lunging, Travis murdered him. Travis will get life without parole; and that's not enough.

That's the same "reasoning" they used over Trayvon Martin's murder... that he should have stopped walking when Zimmerman yelled at him. They immediately put a dead boy's life on trial and blamed him for his own death. :mad:

True. In their minds, every taking of a black life is justified. "He should have stopped running. He should have put his hands up. Why was he reaching for his registration? Why didn't he put his hands on the steering wheel? Why didn't he shove his fists up his own ass while he offered blow jobs to his attackers? I mean, he obviously deserved to die."

I'm not sure whether the Shotgun was pointed at the Jogger or not, but either way ... the Smart Move is to NOT run towards the guy with the Gun.

The shot came when Arbery reached the front of the truck. Are you special needs? How do you imagine that shot landed in Arbery had Travis not had the gun pointed at him?
