judge may allow the men Kyle Rittenhouse shot to be called 'rioters' or 'looters'

This one is what I was referring to:

One hit him in the head With a skateboard the other drew a hand gun on him.
and what does that really have to do with it?

So post the video in question. Give me the time mark. Appearance can be deceiving. Few people in the past has been shot because they "appeared" to draw out their guns when they were really cell phones.
it was YOUR post.....do you realize how dumb that makes you look now?

I don't need to. You can clearly see them and listen to their testimonies already on Youtube.

I suggest you watch the video, for once. you clearly have a colored view of the events and are not objective

I think you're the emotional one here because you just said earlier that those victims were "trying to take his gun" from him, not trying to kill him, like you were trying to say they were earlier.

So you just fucked up your argument for yourself by stating that these guys were trying to disarm him, not kill him, so therefore Kyle wasn't acting in self-defense when he shot those people.

hey, if you need to remain stupid and obtuse, that's on you..........i gave you the laws and examples.

So? Are you trying to make a point here?

Yes, Sybil. That you are an idiot but I forgive you because you are also crazy.

Try to keep up with the conversation. This case will be settled in court with the evidence, none of which any of us can influence. Ergo, put your money where your mouth is and let's bet on the outcome.

and what does that really have to do with it?

You confirmed that he was lying.

You can't tell me the time mark of that guy that "appears" to have a handgun?

So give me a time mark.

His age will be factored in as well as both his actions and the actions of people on both sides of the divide. His friends are facing their own charges...I'm not sure their status or charges.

I suspect Kyle could be looking at 5-15 years then get early parole per the rules.

I think it'll be 20 to life because his lawyer is shit, and he's going to have Kyle take the stand...I just feel it in my bones that his lawyer thinks the best defense is for the jury to hear it from Kyle's own mouth.

I hope his attorney does that because I would pay to watch Kyle lose it during the cross-examination.

you're all over the map, boyo.........you must have really been rattled about being shown all of your wrongness

What are you talking about? You just said that Kyle is so desperate that he's looking for a witness who can testify to Kyle's state of mind that evening.

Who would even do that? His "very fine people" won't because the prosecutor will just destroy their credibility.

In order for Kyle to claim self-defense, he has to prove that he felt threatened, which he can't do unless he takes the stand.

I think your boy is going away for life, man....

Exactly what Harvey Weinstein got.

Why whatabout to Bill Clinton, though? What does Clinton have to do with this?
I was curious if you were a politically biased judge.

Agreed, BTW, on Clinton. Kyle doesn't deserve life in prison.

OTOH, if he's treated as a terrorist, which they aren't doing, then, yes, it'd be appropriate.

that is only your feels, it's not law..........there can be justification, you just don't agree with it

That's the law too, man.

You're all about feelings because your whole argument hinges on Kyle's feelings, specifically his feelings of being threatened.

So what does the law say about that? Well, the law says it's a valid defense if you can prove it...but Kyle won't prove it, so he's searching for someone, anyone, who will.

That desperation is going to backfire...he would be wise to take a plea deal...if he did, then he's probably looking at 15 years...but if he doesn't...game over. He's gone for life.

He raised over $2M. He has good lawyers. Two of them, IIRC.

Good point about whether they'd put him on the stand. I'm guessing not unless they want to sacrifice Kyle on the altar of RW white supremacism...which could happen, but I doubt the lawyers will allow it. They'll earn their money and give Kyle a chance at having a life in 10 years.

...a life in his parent's basement working at the gas station or whatever is within bicycle distance.

you don't read very well at all, do you? you make more stupid assumptions than evince......and that's saying alot.

if there is already a confession, why is there a trial? face it, you don't agree with the laws but can't bring yourself to accept that it is law

Because he didn't confess to murder.

It's funny how you accuse me of "feelings" when it seems your entire defense of Kyle is around his feelings that particular evening.

and the assumptive rhetoric reaches new heights ROFL. That video in post 133 laid it all out very clear that it was all self defense.......

I really hope you lose your ever loving mind when he's acquitted

wishful thinking again

True, but it's a logical move so I expect one side or the other to bring them in.

Otherwise how to explain why 17 year old Kyle was running around in the dark with a Smith & Wesson M&P15 miles and miles from home before shooting 3 American citizens?
