1. No, since shooting an attacker wildly shooting at an attacker is not reasonable self-defense to shoot at or injure others. It's up to the defense to prove self-defense with each and every pull of the trigger and the prosecution to prove a crime with one or more pulls of the trigger. All it takes is one crime and Kyle goes away for at least 5 years. Do you agree we should put on trial all criminals and reckless assholes who make all law abiding gun owners look bad?
2. It depends upon the sentencing. He could do 20. I'm not a lawyer, but prosecutors rarely charge crimes they don't believe are 1) worth spending money upon and 2) that they can win. Otherwise they cut plea deals. Like Martin-Zimmerman, there's politics in this, but unlike that shooting, a President wasn't influencing state criminal trials. Unlike Zimmerman, Kyle isn't being overcharged here. Therefore, advantage prosecution.
Do you believe the county court will be fair? The State Court?

It seems odd, but I'm not a lawyer. Still, there's a lot of evidence to be revealed plus the wild card that one of Kyle's militia buddies would give up the entire gang for a lighter sentence on 1/6.
Some of those guys were there, IIRC. No doubt the face recognition software will be active throughout the trial and any demonstrations.

It’s on the video. Rifle Kid was RETREATING from Angry Jew. No other way to interpret that. He was running from a mob of rioters. That’s what I KNOW for sure. Not much else besides that other than he was stupid for being there. I’d definitely vote to convict him of stupidity.
