It's probably a lease or a rental.Hello Walt,
That's why he never painted his name on the side of his Cessna. Wrong image. He can't have pics of a smaller plane with his name on it. With him, everything has to be bigger. Like his ego.

Penny wise, pound foolish.
This isn't Apples to Apples, but it's close:
Boeing 757-200 is around 18,000 USD per hour.737-800...costs $2,180 per hour.

Why would that happen?
Numbers like that are why you can buy a 757-200 fully working for as little as $6 million. It costs so much to operate, no one wants anything to do with it.
The stench of failure follows. People who want a cheap plane to buy, but are willing to have an expensive plane to operate.
Exactly correct. Planes might be cheap, but the maintenance costs skyrocket. It's not like he can cheat on maintenance too much because the FAA regulates that shit. No one wants a 757 dropping parts or crashing into American Suburbia.
My best guess is that Trump will fix it up enough to fly a little with the new paint job then park it at Palm Beach International Airport to be donated to the Trump Presidential Library (brothel and casino) for a healthy tax write off.
If he does put brand new, upgraded engines over the present Rolls-Royce RB211 engines, then he does plan on using it for awhile longer. I'd bet against it.
At least there's plenty of good used parts available, right?
Not certain, but I think MIA has a plane junkyard, and that's just a couple counties from Palm Beach.
Hate speech.

That is trump to a T.
He is totally into appearances.
So a 757 is gonna just fly around empty?
At about $20k/hour
If Trump is going to go bankrupt, he might as well go first class!
We’ll see by 2024. Right now the plane appears to be in New York. I wonder if the NY AG will put a hold on it leaving the state once Trump pays to make it flyable again and before going to Lake Charles for a paint job.
So you are making a semantics fallacy. Gotit.I said "stench of failure."
What failure? There is a lot of failure that goes into that, so you are not completely wrong.
You never explained it once, but let's hear your explanation.I will explain to you again, but this will probably be the last time.
Nope. They are still around. Delta and United Air are still flying, and they are still flying 757s. They are reducing their fleet of them these days in favor of more modern aircraft, but the 757 is still flying passenger and cargo service.Any airline that bought a cheap plane to purchase, but an expensive plane to operate would be under capitalized. They would hope that operating revenue would make up for their lack of capital, but the last 30 years of airline operating revenue has been very tough. That means most airlines that went with 757's are bankrupt.
About $20 million. Now here is the kicker: with perfectly working 757's going for $6 million,
Trump is plenty rich enough to afford a 757. It is not a con to buy an airplane (I have three).a lot of people who are not extremely rich, but want to seem extremely rich, have bought them. That is describing a con artist,
You can't default on an investment, idiot. Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy.so many of those people default on their loans, and investments.
Don't run into the running engine of another nearby aircraft! You see a 757, my advise is to run away.

It's probably a lease or a rental.

So Delta and United Air are 'no one', eh?It costs so much to operate, no one wants anything to do with it.

Ah. The financially challenged that can't appreciate the scale of an airplane this size.People who want a cheap plane to buy, but are willing to have an expensive plane to operate.
