Simple... The seal around the edges of that mask are not airtight.
This sort of mask is better by degree as it is designed to allow a good seal around the edges and has a nose bridge (the little metal band) to force the mask to conform to your nose and face. It's still not going to stop much other than larger particles.
I've worn an N95 mask this whole time and I never once had any trouble breathing.
If you're having trouble breathing with a mask on your face, then you probably have a serious medical condition, which puts you at more risk of COVID than others.
So is that what you're going to say about yourself now? That it is medically impossible for you to wear a mask without suffocating?
Then don't fuckin' wear one, and don't let any of your friends or family wear one either...then get together without masks, preferably indoors, and party.

Because it is expensive. But when there are over 500,000 more deaths than expected it is obviously still covid related and a serious problem.

They don't. Bacteria are in the air as well. The instruments are sterilized. About the best you can do is keep things as clean as you can, make sure you don't leave foreign material or tools in the body, close it, and monitor for infections and treat as necessary.
Right, but are you going up to an inch away from people's faces when they're talking? Are you a close talker?
If you are a close talker like Judge Reinhold in that Seinfeld episode, then maybe a mask won't entirely protect you.
Maybe you need to wear the mask and stop being a close talker.

This demonstrates what I stated earlier: This is the empirical lab study. It doesn't measure the effectiveness of mask wearing in a population exposed to COVID versus not wearing a mask. Right now, the few studies that have actually done this show there is no advantage to mask wearing.
Keep believing that, and go without a mask or vaccine.
I'm sure you're totally going to be OK between now and November 2022.
My only regret is that if you end up contracting COVID and dying, I won't be able to rub it in your face on JPP.

I’ll ignore the rest of it since it’s irrelevant. I’m not denying Covid. I’m just pointing out there’s ample reason to suspect some degree of fraud anytime the government incentivizes anything. Why do the Covidians refuse to accept that PCR tests spit out a high rate of false positives?

I worked for a guy like that once decades ago, Juan Sepulveda. He was from Chile. South Americans tend to do that as a normal part of their culture.

I don't get why you have such a problem wearing masks when you have no problem wearing a white hood.
