What you underlined was a definition of herd immunity, and in that definition it says at the very end that you achieve it with vaccines.

Anatta was saying last year that we didn't need vaccines to achieve herd immunity, we just needed to get everyone infected with COVID.

At the very bottom of what you underlined, they say that you achieve herd immunity with vaccines.

All you did was copy and paste a definition, but you didn't establish the connection between herd immunity w/o a vaccine, like Anatta said, and herd immunity w/ a vaccine, like the WHO said.

I get it why you are overlooking a valid point. It sort of destroys your argument.

That point being: While healthy children may not face as much of a death risk from COVID, they are still able to transmit the disease and perpetuate the pandemic.

You keep focusing on the risk to children, but children are not the only people at risk. The disease does not care who it has to go thru to get to it's victims.

And there are lots of children in the hospital with COVID.

And there are children who are not perfectly healthy, for whom catching COVID could be a death sentence.

Do you value children with asthma less than other children?

BUT, you purposely act as if you are oblivious to the blue text that I sent you (and what I underlined in that text). There, the WHO said that herd immunity can be achieved naturally (WITHOUT VACCINES).

In the blue text, they said it is achieved via NATURAL EXPOSURE (and vaccines can assist with it). In the red text, they changed to being liars (due to politics) and said that it can only be achieved via vaccines.

The seasonal flu vaccines average 40 percent effective. Herd is tough to figure. Biden was shooting for 70 percent.
