The irony of this thread is not lost on me. What Trump 'tried' is an overthrow of the United States Government, which I'm pretty sure is a lot worse than asking CNN to tone down their coverage. Not that I believe it happened, but even if we accept it, that pales in comparison to a hundred things Trump has done. It's laugh out loud funny. It's like saying 'can you imagine what would have happened if Jeffrey Dahmer had jaywalked?'

i don't even think they are claiming the WH asked them to tone it down- just to look at the current facts more closely. there is nothing wrong with that, even if it did occur.
