As I recall, one or more of the complaints against him were dismissed.

And I believe the others were related to his working one of the more dangerous and difficult areas of town.

Lots of cops get complaints lodged against them because 1) most of the assholes they deal with are scumbags who'd lie and say anything to get out of trouble and get a cop reprimanded or fired, and 2) arresting violent thugs who don't give a shit about the law almost always involves getting into physical confrontations with them. I doubt you've ever been in any kind of fight, but FYI, in the heat of battle, it's not always possible to be mindful of the Marquess of Queensberry rules.

If a cop just goes off on somebody for no reason whatsoever and punches them in the face or kicks their ass just because something was said or just because he felt like it, that's one thing. That cop should get retraining and no more chances. But claims of unnecessary force by thugs who fight and struggle with cops while they're trying to subdue and arrest them, should be summarily tossed out without a second thought.

Because nothing he did killed Floyd. Floyd should.have gotten into the fucking car. If he had he'd be smoking crack today

Yes there are. But if he gets out on parole, he'll be right back in the slammer when he gets caught. I believe his wife divorced him over this episode, so aside from his mother I'm not sure what kind of support system he now has. His life will be very different if he gets out. I'm still waiting to see what the Feds have in store for him.

Agreed, he's fucked himself for life. This isn't Zimmerman. This was a police officer seen pressing the life out of a man for almost 10 minutes.

As the court testimony proved, Chauvin exceeded all of his training and the law itself. Chauvin, like all murderers, must be held accountable for their actions.

Even if the Feds spend the money to put him away for life, Chauvin will die both a broken man and a brutal murderer.

"That evil racist whitey cop killed that innocent black man with his knee on his neck!!!!" they all cried without considering he fact that the other side of his neck was completely uncompressed.
