Terrible news for the Creation Science museum (and Republicans)

So, to recap: all scientific claims carry equal weight.

Therefore, the degree of confidence in Boyles law is equal to the degree of confidence in the claim that man is descended from a less evolved ancestor.

True or false?

Meanwhile, back to science.

My specialty is applied psychology.

In multiple experiments so far, my cat, while resting comfortably in my chair, will vacate said chair to his scratch pole 100% of the time after whiffing two crushed Catnip leaves under his nose then rubbing the Catnip on the rope bindings of his scratch pole. Once vacated, the cat showed no interest in returning to my seat. Further research is needed on this subject.

I'll repeat the experiment at the cat's convenience.

Your cat thanks you for your experiments.

He definitely prefers the catnip over being scraped to the floor. Win-Win!

I bought a catnip plant several years ago and let it go to seed. It's a weed so it was easy to let it do its thing.

I cull plants in the way, but let many grow.

A hypothesis is created to attempt to explain what you are observing.

If you want to call it a "scientific claim", then nobody's stopping you. It's just a hypothesis.

No one to my knowledge said that, and it is bad form to put words in people's mouths.

String theory is not as secure as the theory of evolution by natural selection. I do not think string theory should even really qualify as a theory.

The theory of the big bang is not as secure as the theory of evolution by natural selection. We do not really have the physics to understand the big bang at the level we do understand natural selection.
