Rand Paul was grilling him on NIH funding for the Wuhan lab. Fauci denied it by parsing it wasnt the NIH
What Fauci didnt say it was a sub-bureaucracy that did the funding ( I forget the actual bureau name)

So he's up there saying in effect we didnt fund this crap when clearly we did

Part of the problem with getting anyone to look at Fauci critically has to do with the chronic fixation on the Bad Orange Man. Fauci=right. Trump=wrong. It’s literally a reflex. Pavlov would have been fascinated by it.

When Trump said the virus might have come from the Wuhan lab—that was game over, for the lab theory. Which may have been a little too convenient for some parties.

But with the election being over [no longer matters—as much, if Trump is right] and the Bad Orange Man relegated to the sidelines, suddenly people are more receptive to the idea that the lab created the CCP Virus.

Which may well be named the Fauci virus before it’s all said and done.

Just on the strength of the circumstantial evidence I would rate the lab theory as ‘quite probably true’.

But 61 isn’t allowed to be right either, so there’s that.
