It's blatantly racist of you to suggest black voters are too stupid to know how to vote for their own interests.

LBJ was prejudiced in the way virtually all white Texans and southerners of his generation were.

But he was also the only president in U.S. history to take a risk and use the power of the federal government to enforce legal equality.

He proved by deed and action that he was committed to civil rights in a way no previous US President was.

That is undoutedly what most black Americans took into consideration when Republicans presented rightwing arch-conservative Goldwater as their alternative.

If you were reading my posts, or even read the MLK statement I posted, you clearly understood that I repeatedly said Dr. King begged black voters and whites of good conscience to vote against the Republican candidate of 1964.

The fact that over 90 percent of black voters voted for the liberal LBJ over the conservative Goldwater tells you everything you need to know about which party's candidate for president was more associated with the face of racism.


As for the Dixiecrats of yesteryear, they left the Democratic Party 50 years ago because of LBJ ...and became Republicans.

It is funny how Deplorables always have to jump in their time machines, and time travel back to the 19th to mid 20th century to complain about racist Democrats.

Seems to me that implies there is not much to complain about in the modern Democratic Party.

Next time you want to imply Democrats are the real racists and bigots, you are going to have to explain why year after year, decade after decade, election after election, Blacks, Hispanics, Jews, and Asian-Americans overwhelmingly vote for the Democratic Party.

Year after Year, racist democrats promise big things for minorities, yet deliver nothing but more government servitude, while at the same time constantly accusing everyone else as a racist, with almost zero proof. Todays dixiecrat racists still exist in the southern states, as democrats, because some of my wifes family are part of it, still involved with it, as are most of them around those areas.

I don't have to look far at all, ... Rev. MLK said Goldwater is NOT a racsit.

All the former Slave States rejected the so-called "evil racist" repubs in 1976 when they voted for Jim Carter. And in '84, forty nine States all voted repub.

Why do you hate the majority of the White Race?

Neither of those regimes practices socialism as it was conceived and neither of them resembles, say, the United Kingdom very much.

Socialism is the abolishing of private property. In a monarchy the king owns everything including his subjects.
