Where have all the board lefties gone?

Wikipedia? Really?

The February 2006 issue of the European edition of Time magazine contained a DVD dedicated to the subject of the genocide of the Armenian people. The text introducing the documentary, produced by the French-German TV network arte, said, “‘Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?’ Hitler posed this rhetorical question on August 22, 1939, before embarking upon his campaign to exterminate six million European Jews and other groups.” The introductory paragraph concluded, “His assumption that no one remembered the genocide of 1.5 million Armenians by Ottoman Turkey must have emboldened the Führer to perpetrate the Jewish Holocaust.”

1) ...wikipedia. Be better Tom.

2) I think Hitler knew that what happened in Germany would draw a lot more attention than what happened in Armenia.

Btw, Pittsburgh police have been under consent decrees in the past because of civil rights violations. So there's plenty of blame of both sides about the problems here.

So how does causing front line police to apply for early retirement fix that? The old adage 'be careful what you wish for, it might just come true' seems apropos here. Guano the black ersatz Jewish racist must be wetting himself with joy. Normal people in New York however are terrified that the bad old days are returning. BAC cites Camden as an example to all despite it being the ninth worst city for crime in the US.

You won't stop it by sending out a signal to the gangs that the police are scared to do anything lest BLM and Antifa pays a visit. I just read that police retirements are up 75% in the NYPD, be honest can you blame them?

If it's because of this I don't see it as a bad thing. Get some new people willing to go by the rules instead of going rogue.

"The Council’s legislation would end qualified immunity for police officers in New York City by creating a new local civil right protecting New Yorkers against unreasonable search and seizures and against excessive force and ban the use of qualified immunity, or substantially equivalent immunities, as a defense,” the press release states."

So in the five to ten years it takes to recruit new people, train them and put them on the streets what happens to crime in the meantime? I just think that's hopelessly naive, it's the same logic that led to that fool Khan and the huge increase in knife, acid and gun crime in London. Khan cut back on stop and search drastically and those crimes shot up. Only people who live in leafy suburbs and do not see the grim reality can afford to think like that, in my view.

' Might ', maggot, not ' must '. The underlying concern is correct, however, and presents the opportunity, yet again, of warning that the acceptance of Neo-Zionist fascism and racism- and your own support for it is worth a mention - emboldens racists and fascists elsewhere, a warning borne out by the rise of racism and fascism the world over.

Ok, whatever. Tell me how they cremated all those people.

A Dutch Oven?

Good lord it doesn't take that long to recruit and train new people! In the US it's maybe 20 weeks at the academy. Most of the crime here is not gang-related, it's local one on one. Robbery, assault, domestic stuff. I've seen comments by others from foreign countries who have the impression that the US is one big gun-toting crime wave. Don't get taken in by the fear-mongers who preach this drivel. We have our problems but they're not dystopian.

It takes several years at least to go from a rookie to an experienced street cop on the mean streets of Chicago, LA, San Francisco, New York etc.
Shootings and murders skyrocketed in 2020 throughout the Big Apple, the NYPD said as it released year-end crime data late Wednesday.

The number of shootings soared 97% from 777 in 2019 to 1,531 in 2020 and murders jumped by 44% from 319 to 462, according to the NYPD. It's rapidly returning to the bad old days of the 70s and 80s.
