Things we aren't allowed to know

1. The Capitol cop had his gun out for a while
2. Some crazy person with a backpack trying to get in
3. BOOM!
4. The cops obviously were too late.

Are you trying to be funny? ... or are you trying to justify the cold blooded murder of an unarmed woman? ... or both?

From now on anyone committing a crime while wearing a backpack gets the kill shot.

Why do I get the idea that won’t work across the board?

It is clear from video footage that Ashli did not pose a danger to the officer, or any other person, when she was shot.

Ashli was unarmed.

She did not assault anyone.

She did not threaten to harm anyone. There was no excuse for taking her life.

At the time of the shooting, there were over a half-dozen police officers in close proximity to the door where Ashli was standing. Some of those officers had just allowed protesters access to the door by stepping aside.

Other officers, dressed in full tactical gear, stood among the protesters just a few feet behind the door. Still others stood casually at the opposite end of the hallway, apparently unconcerned with the activities of Ashli and the protesters around her.

All of these officers were in a position to have aided in the apprehension of Ashli, who was 5'2" and weighed just 110 pounds, if it was necessary.

The officer who shot her never made any attempt to actually arrest her, nor did he call on his fellow officers to arrest her. Instead, he simply fired.

Why aren't we allowed to know the rationale that the authorities used when they decided to excuse the killer and keep his name a secret?

Something doesn’t add up.

On the one hand, we are being told Congressmen’s lives were being threatened; but that doesn’t square with cops standing around *as if they are waiting to see if the situation escalates* before doing anything.

In the midst of that, one cop[?] takes out Ashli Babbit, not in the arm but through the neck. There is no way, his superiors or his fellow cops thought that was appropriate under the circumstances. She was NOT an immediate threat to anyone and the shooter could have easily wounded or killed one of the cops.

It’s an obvious conspiracy theory but Sailor might be onto something with the shooter not being a cop. It does fit the fact pattern.

Dude I was watching the video on Youtube I uploaded to and noticed something. Two guys had backpacks on their backs.

1..... so what? What about it?

2...Can you point me to one of your posts where you say you notice the HUNDREDS of antifa trash wearing back packs during riots?

Bias is a helluva drug...

The public simply has a right to know what happened..if the investigation is over, release the full report...Simple..unless there's something to hide....

No, you don't need to know. In fact, given the abhorrent behavior of you and your ilk, you should be prevented from knowing. You can't be trusted. There is videotape of the incident. It makes it obvious that the shooting was entirely justified. How about you all STFU about it? How would that be?

It's public record....
I find it odd you mentioned people who "can't be trusted" ....such double standards....no surprise there....

There is a name out there...it would be nice if authorities would post the official results of the investigation....

Nope. No double standard. I have no need to know the name of any officer who isn't charged. And usually you won't know. Nor should you. It's just asking for people like you to harass them. 'The officer involved was put on paid administrative leave'. That's the response to a shooting in almost 100% of the cases. The person isn't named unless they are charged. And I don't really give a fuck, because I don't feel the need to threaten people I disagree with. That's your teams go to.

There simply isn’t a justification for not releasing the report. Not only is it a matter of public record but the Capitol cops are under congressional oversight and congress represents *the people*. But of course the Lemmings will obediently parrot any justification offered.

Part of the problem is the media couldn’t be less curious about it; that, coupled with spineless republicans in congress means it will be just one more thing the anti-Trump coalition will get away with.

That's your choice....his name is out there...There should be an official report...It's not true the name isn't released unless they're charged....not here...or you could ask Lebron...
I'm not on any "team", btw....though hopefully our swim team will be back next year...;)

A name and lots of info is out there=though nothing "official"....I would think Everyone would want the official results of the investigation to be released....
