Covid......

The first public news of the epidemic appeared in Madrid. On 22 May 1918, the influenza epidemic was a headline in Madrid's ABC newspaper . News stated that spread of a strange influenza-like illness, which was very mild, had been ongoing since the beginning of May. Because of Madrid's yearly local holidays (Fiesta de San Isidro), a great number of people gathered in ballrooms and popular parties (Verbenas) during the third week of May and, thus, were likely exposed to a high risk of virus transmission

Hence why it became "Spanish influenza"

Why is it so hard to call it the CCP virus or Wuhan virus?

No idea other than political correctness from the Left. But I prefer Chinese Disease because it has a nice flow to it.

They are the ones most likely to want discrimination.

In 1918 the epidemic was called Spanish Influenza because it originated in Spain. This time the epidemic started in China. Thus, Chinese Disease, or China Disease if you prefer. It is a geographical reference, not an ethnic one. But for the Left and folks like you, it's always about race because you are racists.

Comments like this are why we know your retarded inbred meth. The Spanish influenza originated in Kansas. Why is it so important to you to be a moron.

A pejorative instead of the correct nationality name makes it so. But Chinese is correct as would be Japanese or Italian versus chink, gook, slant, jap, or wop as examples.

Chinese means culture, race, language food of China. I suppose the virus is a culture of China.

If a new virus came from Italy, perhaps we'll call it the Pizza Virus.
