The most serious charge Chauvin is facing, carries a sentence of 10¾ to 15 years.

In Minnesota, he'll only serve 2/3 of his sentence in prison and the final third on parole.

So if he gets the minimum sentence, he'd do a little over 7 years before getting parole for almost 3 years.

If he gets the max, he'd do 10 years then get parole for 5 years.

If he gets convicted of one of the lesser charges, he could be out in less than 5 years.

Only the Qless think so. Intelligent, sane and educated people know 2nd Degree Murder carries a stiffer penalty:

Second-Degree Murder
Second-degree murder can be an intentional killing, but it is not as serious as first-degree murder. Second degree murder can be charged when a defendant intentionally kills another human being but the murder is not premediated. Second-degree murder may result when a person kills out of an intense emotional response or impulse. Additionally, killing someone during a drive-by shooting, killing someone during the commission of a crime that is not sexual assault or killing someone unintentionally while intended to inflict great physical harm to a victim for whom an order of protection was obtained can result in second-degree murder charges. Second-degree murder has a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison.

Promises of violence have proven to be effective in America this deeply into this Dark Age.

Non-answer. Figures you don't have anything. You're just paranoid and scared. Get some help. Your remaining years will be happier if you do.

"The goal is to inflict maximum damage without death and to maintain the momentum of riots to drain government resource and law enforcement morale,"
Andy Ngo, from his book.

Yes, and this is exactly what the Chinese do all the time, they are relentless, their goal is to weaken the enemy so that as little violence/war is required in the building of the empire. That the Regressive Left is using the same tactics as the Chinese Communist Party is something to note.

Well. if you want fair and honest legal decisions, that is where you should go. Sure as hell not those who cannot resist propaganda and lies, like you.

its amazing how much smarter you are than those silly juries and judges who get ALL the facts......

I get annoyed with the people here who keep yapping "Just you wait, the America people are going to rise up and put down this leftist abuse". Twenty years ago that might have worked, but not now, the Revolution has already won and is not likely to be driven from power for decades. The American people are way too often ignorant cowards, which is how we got here in the first place, and that shows no sign of changing.

BTW it figures that you turn out to be one of the WOKE.

LOL. Of course you do. You believe 330M Americans are fucking morons except you and your secret club.

Define "WOKE".

What Chauvin is charged with is 2nd degree UNITENTIONAL murder.

When former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin goes on trial Monday for the May 25 killing of George Floyd, he will face three charges: second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Here's what you need to know about the charges and what prosecutors must prove in order to convict Chauvin.

What is second-degree unintentional murder?

For a conviction of second-degree unintentional murder, the state's prosecutors will have to show beyond a reasonable doubt that Chauvin caused Floyd's death while assaulting him. This is the most serious charge and carries a presumed sentence in this case of 10 3⁄4 years to 15 years, according to state sentencing guidelines.

What is third-degree murder?

Initially, Chauvin faced an additional charge of third-degree murder, but Cahill dismissed that charge and denied a request from the prosecution to reinstate it. The Minnesota Court of Appeals ruled Friday that the judge was wrong to refuse reinstating the third-degree murder charge and sent the case back to Cahill for consideration. After the Minnesota Supreme Court declined to consider an appeal from the defense, Cahill reinstated the charge Thursday. It also carries a presumptive sentence in this case of 10 3⁄4 years to 15 years, according to state sentencing guidelines.

What is second-degree manslaughter?

In order to convict Chauvin of second-degree manslaughter, prosecutors will need to show beyond a reasonable doubt that he was "culpably negligent" and took an "unreasonable risk" with Floyd's life when he restrained him and that his actions put Floyd at risk of death or great harm. Prosecutors do not have to prove that Chauvin's actions intended to cause Floyd's death, only that his actions put Floyd at risk of death or great bodily harm. This charge carries a presumptive sentence of 41-57 months.

I guess this makes you neither sane nor intelligent.

Derek Chauvin 'absolutely' violated policy, Minneapolis police chief testifies

This was murder — it wasn't a lack of training," Arradondo said, adding that that was why he "took swift action" and fired the four officers involved in the incident a day after Floyd's death.

"The officers knew what was happening — one intentionally caused it, and the others failed to prevent it," Arradondo said in June.

On Monday — this time from the witness stand — Arradondo again rebuked Derek Chauvin, the former officer who prosecutors said knelt on Floyd's neck for 9 minutes, 29 seconds. It marked a rare instance of a police chief's testifying against a police officer. (Arradondo also testified in the trial of Mohamed Noor, a former police officer who was convicted of killing Justine Damond in 2017.)

“To continue to apply that level of force to a person proned out, handcuffed behind their back — that in no way, shape or form is anything that is by policy,” said the chief, Medaria Arradondo. “It is not part of our training. And it is certainly not part of our ethics or our values.”

Chief Arradondo said Mr. Chauvin’s actions might have been reasonable in the “first few seconds” to get Mr. Floyd “under control.” But, he said, “Once Mr. Floyd had stopped resisting, and certainly once he was in distress and trying to verbalize that, that should have stopped.”

Chauvin will most likely spend the rest of his life in prison!

And he will be in a jail cell all by himself, and he will spend his time out in the prison yard all by himself, because he is an ex-cop!

He should have plenty to think about to keep him busy!

While I s

I have had to put my knee on the side of peoples heads neck and back to help get them under control it was only for a short while untill they cuffed properly and controlled or back up arrived . never for any length of time.
Do i think the cop is guilty of murder nope. But he very well is guilty of negligence homicide

None of the charges he is faced with carry anywhere near that sentence.

The very most he can be sentenced to is 15 years.

Even if he gets the maximum 15 years, Minnesota only requires 2/3 of the sentence to be spent behind bars with the remaining 1/3 being spent on probation.

Pus, if he gets that sentence, they will deduct time served which has been about one year, so he could conceivably spend only nine years in prison at most.

If they convict him of second degree manslaughter, he could be out in about three years.

And I seriously doubt they'd put him in a maximum security prison with the general population.

He'd probably get sent to a medium or possibly even minimum security facility.

Your constantly going after members, and who you target, makes more sense now.

Incorrect. I engage psychos, nutjobs and the mentally retarded. They often resent it like you're doing now. Does that make sense now?
