Depends what their mailing address is. If they are locked in an asylum does not mean they can't receive mail from home.
Correct. Also, such people often have a relative as a guardian. All mail would go to the guardian.

I guess people like you with vaginas feel that way.Yeah.
That's where I lean now.
Men can't handle the responsibility of gun ownership.
If they could, 200,000 guns wouldn't go missing every year.
I worked in a psych ward back in the 70's and patients regularly received mail.

Ah...so...then...if that guardian chose to commit voter fraud, like you think they will, then they would be caught by the system, not by a Voter ID law.
Maybe.
Personally, I support absentee ballots and think the Georgia laws are designed to disenfranchise voters.
all Americans should be reasonably assured that our voting system is secure.
FWIW, with the 2020 election, absentee ballots are rarely counted unless the number of absentee ballots would alter the election.
If that was true then why do you post to me two to three times what I post to you?You don't sound sure.
I think you're full of shit, and this unsure response is proof.
So you cry crocodile tears over black men killed in gun violence.
But then you oppose any gun control that would reduce that gun violence.
So you're just a faker and a phony. And also fucking racist because you don't want to do anything about those Black victims, and oppose -stridently oppose- any gun control efforts.
We can only hope.
I live with a Welsh Terrorist, by the way. She's right there on my avatar.
The breeder told me that she was a Welsh "Terrier," but when she still had her milk teeth, I had to count my fingers every day.
I'd like to know where you got that bucket full of bullshit hyperbole and misinformation that you just spewed all over the board
I'll remind you next time I see one. I don't have the time or desire to do a search

I own three of them.
I'd like to know what you considered bullshit.
Because they kill 35,000 people every year.

I'm glad you asked because no one else has.
What I would like to see first and foremost is a ban on the production and distribution of newly-manufactured guns for civilian use; with over 400,000,000 guns on the streets already, we don't need more.
Then, I would institute annual, mandatory mental health evaluations for every single gun owner.
If you miss your evaluation, you lose your guns.
If you fake your evaluation, you lose your guns.
If you forget your evaluation, you lose your guns.
If you fail your evaluation, you lose your guns.
You have to do this every year, and you have to sit down with the same people who evaluate all mental health claims for Social Security Disability...in my mind, that agency handles this too. If you lose your guns, you have the opportunity to appeal the decision in court, and you can present your case as to why you think you're mentally fit, and the doctor can present theirs, and the judge will make the ultimate decision.
The thing I want to see most out of gun reform is accountability. Right now, there is no accountability. But if everyone had to undergo an evaluation, that then adds a level of accountability where one doesn't currently exist. So a doctor is going to be much more careful about how they diagnose someone, should that someone take their gun and kill themselves or others.
So, while I'd love to have a gun-free society, I know that's unrealistic. So instead, my focus is on accountability.
It is my opinion that most gun owners are not responsible people who with act responsibly on their own.
It is also my opinion that most gun owners are reckless and are addicted to the gun, thus are allergic to any personal responsibility they feel to society and others. I think many of them need treatment for this addiction, because if left untreated, the addiction is only going to hurt everyone else when the addicted carelessly and stupidly lose their gun, have it stolen from them, or act irresponsibly with it.
The fact that 200,000 guns go missing every year from "responsible gun owners" and 14% of the time, they don't even tell the cops.
So after 5 years, about 1M "responsible gun owners" have lost their weapons, and nearly 140,000 of those guns are just...out there...somewhere...likely in the hands of those who seek to do harm to themselves or others, or in the hands of those who will sell it to those who seek to do harm to themselves or others.
You have to submit an ID when you register to vote.
So if you've already submitted that ID, then why do you need to submit another?
