Congratulations to Florida and Ron DeSantis - another first

There are several that do that here, I find it a cowardly way of participating on these sites. Normally of I put one on Ignore and I discover that they are also someone else I will end up adding them also, though I do my best to confirm it as much as is possible first, usually is not all that difficult to figure out, we are who we are no matter the name we use.
That's odd. Once you put one account on ignore, the socks automatically go on ignore. At least, that seems to be the way it works for me.

Nope, I know of at least two here and no they do not automatically go on the ignore list, at least not for me.

Maybe when they change usernames under the same account? I have quite a few on ignore. Many of them automatically.

Yes, those might work, just changing your name will not hide you. Some have multiple separate accounts not just names and with those it does not work.

Anatta has three accounts. I've had him blocked for years. I have all three blocked, but I only remember doing it manually once.

Perhaps I forgot that I had to block each one.

Viruses can't mutate without a host. That's science!!!!

And there's about 8 billion hosts on the planet, that's math. What's your point? None of you armchair governors have put forth anything constructive. You simply blame the guy with the "r" for fucking things up. How the hell did this thing get politicized anyway. Why don't you guys just STFU about the damn wuflu until one of your jackass politicians come up with something that HELPS.

This is not a competition!!

Hmm, how do you feel about all the infections streaming across the border! One site in Texas, had a 10% infection rate.

Yes, they were closed FOR A PERIOD. But they are not closed now. There has NEVER been a statewide mask mandate, and bars and restaurants were opened to full capacity months ago, as were gyms, salons, and movie theaters. The state 'recommends' masks. ROTFLFMAO!!! Big deal. You claimed there was a mask mandate. You were wrong. There is not and never has been. You claimed the beaches were closed. You were wrong. They are not.

Putz.

Ok it wasn't a mask mandate all over the state in my area it was but has been relaxed. But almost all businesses in my area still require a mask to enter. I have been to areas with a mask mandate and guess what? There were people running around unmasked, so your sacred mandate means little to nothing, just like our seatbelt laws many people still don't wear them! As to your other points about "bars and restaurants were opened to full capacity months ago, as were gyms, salons, and movie theaters." I can't help it if you choose to live in Havana north or better known as south Florida. Clearly you are not happy with the Covid response in the state so fucking move to an area that treats it's citizens like they were in a Gulag. Then your petty complaints will melt away. Sorry bitch but the panhandle beaches were closed for a period. Just because they have reopened doesn't mean you don't need to wear a mask. Mother big government cannot protect you 100% as an adult you are required to take care of yourself, I know that is alien to a leftie like you.

Problem is they do not stay there and will help transport the virus State and Nation wide, it how the virus loves to travel, inside us.

You are correct and Spring break is for young adults and everyone knows young adults are invincible and sadly nothing will ever change that.

Here my university canceled spring break (which was supposed to be the first week of March) and instead ended the semester a week early. Our case count is rising slightly but we still feel safe enough to dine in once a week or so. Finish our shots up this Saturday! I'm hoping to be able to attend class in-person at least once or twice before the semester ends next month. It is harder to learn a physical science virtually.

Florida is now the first state with over 1,000 cases of variants of Covid-19. Michigan is a distant second with 617. Great Job, Ron Ron!!!

Discuss the incompetence of the Florida Governor.

FL has a much larger population than Michigan, buttnugget.

Twice as many people and then some! Ratio-wise, FL is winning. ;)

No WE don't have those things. I live in Florida. There is no statewide mask mandate. There are no limitations on restaurants and bars. The state has not ordered beaches closed. You didn't know that?

It's what, 40 degrees in Jacksonville today? I know my cracker ass ain't goin' to no beach today. LOL!

About to put on a windbreaker.

Looks like DeSantis figures if people come to Florida for vacation and COVID transmission occurs, and then they go back to their home state, and they subsequently become positive for COVID, that's not Florida's problem. Florida got their money, which was the most important thing for DeSantis:

3-11-21:

"TALLAHASSEE — Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Florida clemency board announced Wednesday that it would wipe out fines imposed on people or businesses for violating COVID-19-related ordinances.

Hours later, DeSantis issued an executive order stating that the waiver applied to fines imposed by local governments from March 1 of last year to Wednesday. Anyone disputing the fines need only refer to the executive order as a defense from paying them, it said.

DeSantis’ action Wednesday, which was not on the agenda, appeared to catch people off guard and left local and county officials scratching their heads. It wasn’t clear whether the board had the authority to make such a motion.

His action came immediately after approving major changes to the state’s clemency process. Moving at a break-neck pace throughout the meeting, DeSantis said he was making a motion to wipe out “COVID-19 related fines.”

“As we’ve seen, there have been unprecedented restrictions imposed on people, particularly on the local government level, on both individuals and businesses,” DeSantis said.

“Many of these restrictions, I think, have been ineffective, and I think they’ve unfairly penalized people,” he added.

He then quickly made a motion for the “remission” of those fines, which was immediately approved by the two other Republicans on the clemency board, Attorney General Ashley Moody and Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis. Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, a Democrat, voted against it.

The entire topic lasted 41 seconds, with no discussion or debate, and was yet another example of the abrupt way DeSantis has governed during the pandemic, repeatedly announcing major actions that are only followed hours later with a vague or confusing executive order.

It wasn’t clear Wednesday whether the clemency board had the authority to wipe out municipal fines for people who weren’t seeking clemency, or whether the action was even necessary. In September, DeSantis ordered cities and counties to stop collecting fines and penalties on individuals for violating mask ordinances. Hours later, DeSantis issued an executive order outlining the plan.

DeSantis initially allowed cities and counties to police the pandemic as they saw fit, but reversed course last fall. Since then, he’s repeatedly derided local ordinances."

If Gillum had been a person that put science first in all cases he wouldnt have been found passed out ASS Up with two gay prostitutes in a seedy motel room. ;)

This has nothing to do with Gillum. I know you have a hard time focusing, but give it a try.

HOSPITALIZATIONS AND DEATHS FOLLOW WEEKS AFTER THE INFECTION RATES START CLIMBING, THERE WILL BE A LOT OF SUFFERING AND DEATH IN FLORIDA AND THE STATES ALL THOSE KIDS ARE GOING TO RETURN TO, DESANTIS SHOULD BE CHERGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER OR MURDER WHEN THIS IS ALL SAID AND DONE

hahahahah the hysterics.

Not sure what Jacksonville you're talking about. It wasn't 40 degrees in Jacksonville Florida.

Oh, it was 55 this AM..that is NOT beach weather.

I assumed a bit because of wintertime temps.

North of here is always 10-20 degrees cooler.
