Absolutely. Democracies are an unstable form of government. They almost always dissolve into oligarchies or dictatorships. There is no constitution, no representatives, just mob rule.
Conservatives uphold a republic form of government. Republics have a constitution, an election system specified in that constitution, and officers (representatives) in that government given only the authority and power specified in that constitution.

Democrats do not want a democracy. They want fascism by oligarchy.

Right. Ga. cut early voting. Eliminated Sunday voting, and now made it illegal to bring food/water to anyone who is stuck for hours on line waiting to vote. They eliminated drop boxes for ballots, and next we'll see reductions in polling places in Blue districts.
