First it was reported that the Capitol cop, Officer Sicknick, was killed via blunt trauma from a fire extinguisher.

Then it turned out he died the next day from a stroke[?].

But only after democrats used his death as kind of a lynch pin for their ‘insurrection/domestic terrorism’ narrative. Apart from that despicable aspect, it raises the question of how, exactly, it was ‘established’ that this veteran and respected officer died at the hands of a Trump supporter.

I wish it wasn’t plausible it was just made up for political purposes. Sadly, it’s not. It’s entirely plausible.

I smell desperation, as usual from you, in this types of situation there are usually inaccurately reported events at the beginning that are corrected as more information comes out, unless it’s Fox, OANN and Newsmax, then they just double down. I have not heard the cause of death on other media mentioned in a long time, just the fact that he died.

Truth is up until this point no one anywhere said positively what caused the officers death. There were several explanations including the fire extinguisher and bear spray, and all of it is still under investigation

Your framing is inappropriate, and it never was a “lynch pin” for anything, there are plenty of other examples and video proof it was anything but the peaceful protest many on the right like to believe
 
They have stated that no charges are pending from his death, which tells me that he was not murdered as this was one extremely investigated death. After the supposed attack he texted his brother saying he had been pepper sprayed twice but was "feeling good" and doing fine. Then hospital... and the next day he died. But it wasn't from blunt force trauma as there was no evidence of that at all. So, all we have is no answer at all, they will not release the autopsy and nobody will ever be charged and the report that there was no trauma...

So, of the 5 people that died that day we have a heart attack on the steps, a stroke near a fake gallows outside (person never entered the building), one who was shot (they have not released any information on that investigation either), one that was apparently trampled and Officer Sicknick who was not bludgeoned with a fire extinguisher. All were Trump supporters.

The persistent downplaying is getting odd.

It's lucky more people weren't killed. We can clearly see on tape what's being done with hockey sticks and flagpoles. There are people on video who are practically rabid - and there are certainly audible death threats for various politicians.

The deaths from that day are tragic - but it could have been MUCH worse. And still we have 61 and others here trying to pretend this was some kind of nothing burger.

As I said, no has positively said how the officer died, show us the actual police reports and not newspaper accounts and you might have a argument, but currently it is all still under investigation
