One positive thing about the Capitol riots is that it showed America what kind of racist low-lifes Trump-supporters are. Those images of the right wing traitors running through the Capitol vandalizing, carrying weapons, stealing things, wearing anti-American and anti-semitic garb. Just like the horrible images of 9/11, those images will not soon be forgotten by Americans.
Not with that gallows they wouldn't. It wouldn't hold, it is really poorly constructed. Though I find the image disturbing, it isn't because I think they would have used it as anything other than a shock prop for the protest. I doubt that those folks there entered the capitol at all, and weren't there to do anything but protest.
Well, we didn't say they were smart, crafty, or handy...and the gallows definitely indicates their intent.

Stop whatabouting...you said this thing was a "shock prop"...so OK, if that is what it is, then what is the message they were conveying through it?
Also, "Stop the Steal" was incitement, so the gallows were what they would use to stop the steal, right? How would they "stop the steal"?
It doesn't matter where the gallows were in proximity to the Capitol, the point is that they were erected to "Stop the Steal."
Why else were they constructed? What is the purpose? What is the message, if it's merely "a prop"?
You seem reticent to addressing those questions, and it's not hard to figure out why.
No, not anymore than that guy would have stopped George W. with it. I get that you love being on this side for once where you get to take "shock images" from a protest and give whatever motive you want to the folks carrying it. You don't get that opportunity often as it normally is the left with the shock props at a protest. So you go on with your bad self and I'll get out of the way. Every once in a while I'll step in and cite some sanity like I usually do, but I'm not here to convince anybody that is here (we're all pretty set in our ways), just noting that some of the folks on this site are sane.
I think anybody who went in the building and caused damage deserve some penalty, but this outside protest... not so much.
