Not quite true. Lots of nutjobs have climbed the fence but that doesn't justify lethal force. Maybe not even if they breached\ the front doors of the WH, but most certainly if they tried to breach a barricaded door in the East or West Wing where security personnel were protecting staffers.

There's no doubt in my mine it was a justified shooting and the only question I have in such a situation is why only one hit and why didn't they empty their magazines into the mob?

Agreed. That's the rule in Texas. Texas also has a night rule where a person(s) trespassing at night on the property but outside the house can be shot albeit the "fear for one's life" rule applies. Teens egging a house and lighting a paper bag full of dogshit on the porch could be lawfully shot given the homeowner was in fear of their life.

Guys own family is asking people to not politicize it as it may have been extenuating circumstances that caused his death! I would say you should honor their wishes but you have proven you have no honor! What is in question is they hypocrisy of bastards like you, who see what happened at the capital as something different than the riots that were responsible for many police deaths.
