That's a good point. It should be noted that most Trump supporters did not go to DC, and even if they did, they did not break and enter in the Capitol. They supported that kind of lawlessness with their views and their votes, and that needs to change. I hope January 6th did it for them. I know it did for many. Hopefully more, after it really sinks in what happened.

Well I think many of us had illusions that an outsider would dust up the place & open some eyes & ears..

That may or may not be so, & after this fiasco we certainly need to do some research & perhaps soul searching.....

Eventhough I did like that idea, I never, ever considered trump to be remotely qualified & totally lacking in maturity & temperament for the job.......

Perhaps our best shot was Ross Perot~trump is no Ross Perot............

At this point, it doesn't matter what his base thinks about free speech, etc.. They're loons anyway, and with him having free rein to incite them by the millions within minutes, the nation is much more dangerous.

Perhaps they'll allow the man baby to incite riots when there is a real Attorney General who will bring charges against those who break the law.

good points, Althea. But IMHO, trump chumps and yahoos are going to act the fool following last Wednesday no matter if the Orange Oaf is tweeting/posting or not. My interest is in the folk he get turned off by his calousness. Trump was losing supporters BEFORE Wednesday's insurrection. He can only lose more with each grave digging example of his socio-pathic mentality.

What's going to be interesting is how many alt-right sites will be vying for Trump tweets, and how many will he allow to do so. :thinking:

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, we're going find out the scope of trump's cancer is farther reaching than we thought. Granted, dirty laundry sells, but there are simply too many questions about how this went down, and how many of those who breached the bowels of the Capitol knew exactly where to go to find foe vs friend offices.

We know that Capitol police were warned by both NYPD and the FBI about this attack being a real possibility.

To my earlier point, we will have a Justice Dept. that will root this criminal behavior out, instead of fomenting it.
