we were SO LUCKY to have gotten Trump

You obviously have no clue how the budget works. Those numbers were in the president's budget requests to Congress. Most budgets pass with relatively few changes from what the president requested.

No, they weren't. That's why Trump is vetoing the bill.

Excellent observation.

Some of that I got from Solzhenitsyn's Harvard speech....I had not looked at it in over 30 years, now when I look at it I am shocked by how right he was way back then.

There is yet another surprise for someone coming from the East, where the press is rigorously unified. One gradually discovers a common trend of preferences within the Western press as a whole. It is a fashion; there are generally accepted patterns of judgment; there may be common corporate interests, the sum effect being not competition but unification. Enormous freedom exists for the press, but not for the readership because newspaper mostly develop stress and emphasis to those opinions which do not too openly contradict their own and the general trend.

Without any censorship, in the West fashionable trends of thought and ideas are carefully separated from those which are not fashionable; nothing is forbidden, but what is not fashionable will hardly ever find its way into periodicals or books or be heard in colleges. Legally your researchers are free, but they are conditioned by the fashion of the day. There is no open violence such as in the East; however, a selection dictated by fashion and the need to match mass standards frequently prevent independent-minded people giving their contribution to public life. There is a dangerous tendency to flock together and shut off successful development. I have received letters in America from highly intelligent persons, maybe a teacher in a faraway small college who could do much for the renewal and salvation of his country, but his country cannot hear him because the media are not interested in him. This gives birth to strong mass prejudices, to blindness, which is most dangerous in our dynamic era. There is, for instance, a self-deluding interpretation of the contemporary world situation. It works as a sort of a petrified armor around people's minds. Human voices from 17 countries of Eastern Europe and Eastern Asia cannot pierce it. It will only be broken by the pitiless crowbar of events.

Everybody knows my statement is simply basic civics. You should have learned this in high school.

You deny the Constitution of the United States, the constitutions of the various States, and current State and federal laws. Your statement is bogus.

Nope. Not his budget. Only the House can initiate a budget bill. This is a request to the House by the Dept of State, not Trump.

You deny the Constitution of the United States, the constitutions of the various States, and current State and federal laws. Your statement is bogus.

No, it is basic constitutional procedure. It is based on the Constitution and federal law.

You have a distorted view of constitutional law not supported by anything: you think nationalization never happened, you think states can amend the Constitution by themselves, etc.

No, they weren't. That's why Trump is vetoing the bill.

Trump is not vetoing the budget spending bill.

He threatened to veto the Stimulus bill and did veto the Defense Spending bill.
The stuff on foreign aid is in the budget spending bill.

The House overrode his veto of the Defense Spending bill.

Fake News. Quotes taken out of context.

Really?

Evidently you don't know the meaning of the words context and dictatorship.

Buba, post 124 'Naw. Trump's major sin is that he stands in the way of the socialist dictatorship liberals crave".

My response: Dotard standing in the way of a dictatorship?

Dotard wants to be one and teabaggers approve.

“We are going to win four more years,” Trump said. “And then after that, we’ll go for another four years because they spied on my campaign. We should get a redo of four years.”

"We're gonna win four more years in the White House. And then after that, we'll negotiate. Because probably — based on the way we were treated, we're probably entitled to another four after that," Trump said on Saturday night at a campaign rally in Minden, Nevada.

“I now support reparations — Trump should have 2 yrs added to his 1st term as pay back for time stolen by this corrupt failed coup,” Jerry Falwell Jr., a conservative religious leader and Trump ally.

Then, there is this.
U.S. President Donald Trump praised Chinese President Xi Jinping Saturday after the ruling Communist party announced it was eliminating the two-term limit for the presidency, paving the way for Xi to serve indefinitely.

“He’s now president for life, president for life. And he’s great,” Trump said, according to audio of excerpts of Trump’s remarks at a closed-door fundraiser in Florida.
“And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot someday,” Trump said to cheers and applause from supporters.

No, it is basic constitutional procedure.
The Constitution is not a procedure.
It is based on the Constitution and federal law.
What is? Let's see if you remember the context at all.
You have a distorted view of constitutional law not supported by anything:
Inversion fallacy.
you think nationalization never happened,
Buzzword fallacy.
you think states can amend the Constitution by themselves, etc.
They can.
