Perhaps the greatest blow has been to the progressive interpretation of American politics. Most progressives have understood Trumpism as the last gasp of a dwindling, reactionary white male population. The future of the Democrats, it was said, lay with women and minorities. And yet in 2020 white men shifted more toward Biden than white women did. Black and brown Americans still voted mostly for Democrats, but there were significant shifts toward the Republicans among black and Hispanic voters and all of the Republicans who took contested seats from the Democrats were minority group members or women.

I disagree with his analysis. Progressivism should not be understand as identity politics. I could give a shit about Trump being white, it is all about economics.
We can anticipate Biden using identity politics to cement a conservative economic agenda.

Progressives need to learn something from Trump. Like, DON'T tell Coal Miners you're going to 'take their Jobs'.

Progressives have no interest in compromise, Hell they have no interest in conversation, it is "Do as you are told!" backed up with brutality.

So far it is working.

'Socialism' is all around us. The Public School System is 'socialist'. The Buildings are built and run by the Government. The Teachers are paid by the Government. It's Free to everyone, no matter if you have one kid or ten.
The 'WORD' is what terrifies some, so ... DON'T use it.
