On topic is never boring. We get shit accomplished, and take names.
Damn straight. And there is nothing to be embarrassed about. Adding little quips to underline the ridiculous nature of a hypocritical stance adds to the ambiance of the thread.
People like seeing you whining about the hurtful tone of my posts after enduring a lively thread in which you have placed the same types of "insults". I'll give you a hint. Insults are only effective enough to make people whine about them if there is at least a hint of truth in them.
Driving home I thought more about this.
Affirmative action laws were put in place to protect people from becoming victims because of their skin color. They've been added to along the way to add more groups that have been effectively victimized in one form or another, if not directly by exclusion.
The reality is the lists have become less important along the way as most of the laws state that you cannot discriminate based on "ethnicity, gender, blah, blah..."
You are already included on that list because you have an ethnicity and a gender. I have had fun challenging your ideas and bringing this thread to a more serious discussion about something other than how much you think Jews are higher on the list than you are.
Either we want government defining us by these marginal differences creating a need for "empowering pride" in what others have done or we do not.
I prefer "not", but if you insist we must have an all inclusive list of ethnicities, you can work towards it, as I've stated I don't find it all that important or driving. I personally can see that AA laws have been effective and can understand how others will maintain government power at all costs and therefore the lists aren't going anywhere. I have no fear that everybody will be listed over time with or without my action.
I'll not be fighting for or against them. It just doesn't seem to be so important to me.
I still want to know if you have a belief that Jews are "our masters", as you insist so often, why would you try to insult them before you asked to be included on their special lists?
