Why should ANYONE be proud of their heritage? It is an accident of birth. I did not choose to be any race, ethnicity or eye color. I have nothing to be proud of. As far as white people in general, there have been as many bad things done by white people as good things it is at best a wash.

Identity politics seems to be the most popular way of maginalizing, or aggrandizing large groups of individuals. Given this, we all need to fight for our empowering pride.
There's nothing wrong with being proud of what humans have accomplished. We are all of the human race... wait. You must mean pigmentation or ethnicity. Yeah. I couldn't care any less.
