You might want to rephrase that. Protection = Treatment. Were you trying to say "Equal treatment doesn't guarantee equal results"? If so, I agree 100%.

The qualities of people fall under a Bell Curve, but they are all still different. Some people are smarter, some are more loyal, some work harder, etc. That should be recognized and accepted. Anyone who tries to make all results equal is an idiot and will end up destroying those who are successful.

Not a joke. The physical realm was Caesar's. The spiritual realm was God's. Could God take it all? Yes, but that destroys free will, doesn't it? Hence the split of the physical and the spiritual. See Mark 8:36 as a reference.

Atheists often whine "If God existed, then why doesn't he save all those kids dying of cancer? Huh? Why not? Huh? Huh???" It's related to the aforementioned reason. Space-Time is finite. Eternity is eternal. Those who understand that point are a step closer understanding what Jesus meant and to being one with God.

I don't think the early Christians or the Jews made any such distinction between 'spiritual' (whatever that is) and physical reality.
