While I never took Fucking A econ 101 I take economics classes in college. Cutting taxes as you previously said does not cause an economic collapse. Putting more money in the pocket of the individuals who earned it does not cause economic collapse. Lowering barriers for businesses does not create economic collapse.

Now spending large sums of money like Bush did does cause trouble.

Well, this thread has certainly been amusing, but irrelevant. There will always be the dead-enders, people like meme and icedancer, whom I know to be two of the biggest bushhors anyone has ever met. After all, 20-something percent of the population still supported Nixon when he was forced from office for being a slimey crook.

They are so far out of the mainstream, but what happened is that during this country's temporary insanity which took root post-9/11, they got to feeling that they were in the majority. But that temporary insanity was always going to wear off, and these fringe fanatics, were never the majority in this country.

And not spending money on infrastucture and throwing pallets of hundered dollar bills into a dessert so that they can be used to bribe Haliburton employees for the megerest of services will give you what we got right now.

Tax Cuts are NOT the answer to EVERYTHING.

This is the only idea other than protracted war that has come out of your party in years.

If you think for one moment that I don't know for a confirmed fact, that you're abba and ice dancer is your stinkass friend kismet, then you are living a in dream world.

I have considered moving to a board you know nothing about, just for the simple fact that it occurs to me that the worst thing that could ever happen to you and stinkass is not knowing anything about where I am, what i'm doing, or whether I still exist.

The only reason why I haven't is because there are one or two, maybe three, people here I would miss.

Obambi did OK .. but his answers were long-winded and evasive. He ran away from Helen Thomas's question.

Yet, I find all this a bit ridiculous. Why is Obambi and the democrats whining when they have the votes to pass legislation they want?

Why is it necessary to strip the legislation down to appease a few republicans if in fact they've been so rejected by the American public?

This "bipartisan" nonsense demonstrates democrats don't have the courage to lead.

How about fuck what republicans think and pass legislation that is EFFECTIVE, not bipartisan.

It may not be possible to bring everyone along.

The people will clearly see some are just to wrapped up in partisan hackery.
