The debate is being judged by voters, Earl, not one in ten of whom give a damn or know a thing about the "elements of formal debate". The affair last night was a joke judged by that standard. Debates between political candidates haven't been real debates since the advent of television. If Lincoln and Douglas were alive to see what passes for political debates these days they would think the advance of civilization has reversed itself.

I was using the formal grading system and all participants of all the modern political debates would be escorted off the debate stage amid peals of derisive laughter.

Since 1876 there have been just two elections where the winner of the national vote didn't also win the electoral vote, in 1876 when the margin was around 250,000 and when Bush defeated Gore while losing the national vote by under 600,000. Trump lost the national vote by 2.4 million. His betting odds would have been even lower had that margin been known ahead of time.
Depends on how you define winning, it will not help his goal of winning the election. If winning means to improve peoples opinion of his abilities, yes he won.

The more polished debater was clearly VP Pence and the formal debate scores were not close.
Harris was ill-prepared and failed to answer more than one question.

One side is fulfilling their constitutional duty and filling existing court positions the other side would be creating positions to try to legislate from the bench. When the Republicans held the House, Senate and the White House they only filled existing positions they did not pack the courts with additional positions.
