The President of the United States is briefed by scientists and doctors on COVID regularly . He is updated on the progress of new drugs and treatment to fight COVID regularly. He knows about the exact progress of COVID trials regularly. He knows about the statistical danger of COVID for various age group and comorbidities. And now Trump has personal experience with the disease. He knows you should be aggressive with fighting the disease in order to keep the viral load low. He knows how the latest medications can work when given early in the course of the disease To say he has no knowledge beyond anyone else is ridiculous and inaccurate.

I've known several that had the dreaded covid19. Some didn't have to recover from anything. Most others were fine after about three days. But they still had it.

The debate turned into a joke because of Trump.

He was completely off the rails. He interrupted constantly, and always had to have the last word on topics.

His supporters tried to portray it that he was "strong" and "forceful." One dude on Fox even said he was like a gladiator.

But that's not the reason they have debates. Debates are one of the few times Americans get to see the candidates side by side, and genuinely hear what their plans are for the country. Trump decided he wasn't going to allow that.
