Why this will backfire on Israel

Conversely why would anyone trust a jew when their religion states that they are god's chosen tribe, to bring the world under god's control? Its all bunch of crazy abrahamic insane bullshit. Do we really have to choose sides?

^^ when did that happen? when did hamas actually "cease fire"...if hamas didn't cease fire then israel had no obligation under the cease fire to open the borders, considering the amount of rockets continually fired by hamas during this time, i would say israel showed constraint by not unceasing their fire...

I said talmud from the beginning, you dog squeezer. That's part of their religion. MORE authoritative than Torah, actually.

"Written in stone" indicates just that. Things change, don't you know? You may have noticed that there are many amendments to your own Constitution? At one time the British government "didn't negotiate with terrorists", at least that's what they told people while conducting secret meetings with the IRA. And look where that got us...stuck with this damned peace.

So, yes, i would sit down with people calling for my annihilation. It's called a bargaining chip and Hamas has indicated, very clearly, they are willing to drop it in return for a peace deal. I'd love to see Hamas rip up it's charter. unfortunately, Hamas have very few chips left and they aren't going to give it up without Israel throwing something into the pot as well.

Let's make this very clear. I don't support Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or Fatah and i don't like the policies of the Israeli government. I readily condemn rockets into Israel and suicide bombings just as i condemn Israeli state terrorism.

The citizens of Israel and Palestine are not served well by their elected officials, but this is where we are. People on all sides will be able to tell you the broad outline of any future settlement but until both sides are willing to accept reality and are forced to talk to each other (America, that means you giving your side a push) nothing will change.
