Video shows Wisconsin police shooting a Black man multiple times as he enters a car

Back shooters are cowardly over-reacting assholes. They should be treated as such.

Emptying his pistol's magazine after pressing the gun against his victim's spine will probably earn him prison time. My guess is that this particular officer has a record of his own but the Blue Line stopped authorities from removing him.

The Police are aware of the fact that 51% of violent crime is committed by 13% of the population.

With 50% odds that a member of the 13% has committed a violent crime, caution is prudent.

Why is there no concern that if the 13% stopped committing 51% of the violent crime in America, the violent crime rate would go down by 51%?

Poor, poor Earl. What happened to your brain, man? Fall off a scaffold? Someone drop a wrench on your head? Got too drunk one night and fell off your stool?

Nothing ever changes with these far left loons.

When a police action happens, they default to "Gestapo."

The moderate position is to give the benefit of the doubt to the brave men and women who potentially put their lives on the line every day to defend us.

It's beyond disgusting.

Poor, poor Earl. Always seeing Nazis everywhere. The moderate position is to not empty a pistol magazine into the back of an unarmed citizen.

Great, put him in jail, but don't turn American police officers into death squads executing Americans in the streets.

Has it all come out yet? I read he had a knife in his hand...did he have a gun in the car? He was going for something! And it wasnt to turn on the radio and dance

He is known to have a gun

I guess he didn’t do the 8.5 years since that was only 2015 and “this is 20/20”

Like I said he should have been in jail!

In society, a cop isn’t just a man, the cop has the authority and responsibility given to him by society to enforce laws and social order, up to and including the use of lethal force to prevent felonies and apprehend felons. If you walk away from a cop against his expressed commands and put your hands where he can’t see them, then u risk your life.. and the cop reaches the point where he can’t be sure he’ll make it home if he doesn’t take the shot.

A domestic call is the most dangerous for cops

I read several articles and watched several videos taken of the incident. My observations are:

The guy was at least appropriately attired for domestic violence wearing a "wife beater" T-shirt...

Other than that, the officers had drawn on him for some reason while he was standing beside the vehicle on the far side of it. There is no indication why they did that, but cops don't draw weapons for no reason and they all had their weapons drawn so the guy must have provoked them in some way or another.
That the victim then walked around the vehicle, with the police pointing weapons at him and ignored everything they told him to do is the height of utter and complete idiocy. How retarded do you have to be to walk away from several police officers shouting commands at you with guns drawn? Yes, it's a rhetorical question...

Anyway, the guy tries to enter the vehicle. The police are obviously--whatever their reason(s) is--not going to let him leave the scene. That is what he is trying and it gets him shot repeatedly. I'd of expected three shots but it sounds like six were fired.

The question becomes, what did the police believe this guy did to warrant having drawn their weapons in the first place? It's clear they didn't draw on him and then immediately shoot him. What was the exchange between them and this guy? What did they think or observe him doing? Until we know the answer to those questions, we can't really say whether the shooting was justified or not.

And, you'd be wrong to say they should have just let him go without knowing the above. It is possible the police thought this guy was a real danger to the community for some reason and that letting him escape would create a dangerous situation to the community. If that's the case, and we don't know that yet, then they might well be justified in having shot the guy.

I think at this point we simply don't have enough information to make informed positions on what occurred.

You're the one advocating street executions, I'm the one saying wait for the facts.

Another shooting where all the person had to do to avoid being shot was simply do as the cops say. They dont know if he has a gun in that vehicle or not,... cant take the chance so they fired. Cant blame them a bit.

I was pulled over by a cop once, and so I got out of my car in a parking lot, to face the policeman to ask him what I did wrong, and he told me to get back in my car.

I asked the cop if this was a free country, and he said , "Yes"!

SO I TOLD HIM I'LL STAND WHEREVER I WANT TO THEN!

The other officer in the squad car got out and told me to get back in my car! I told him this is a free country, and I'll stand wherever I want to.

I pulled out my phone and turned on the Movie camera and started to film the policemen as they started searching my car illegally.

They wrote me a ticket for not using my signal. ACTUALLY I HAD A BULB OUT.

I got their badge numbers and reported the incident to their reporting officer.

A Lieutenant asked me to come down and show them the ticket, and when I got there he asked me to hand it over to him.

The lieutenant told me, "Thank You, I'll take care of it, and you are free to go!

Apples and oranges. Cops run everybodys name at the scene,...always. They knew he had a record of fucking around with guns and fighting with cops. He went to jail for it.

Having a record isn't justification for emptying a pistol magazine into a citizen's back.

Marines don't have a magazine emptied into their backs if they disobey a lawful order. More importantly, American citizens aren't Marines. Like you, they are ragbag civilian pieces of shit with rights. Your desire to turn America into an authoritarian state will be fought against by those loyal to our Constitution.

FWIW, in a civil war, I have problem with capping traitors and enemies, foreign and domestic, in the back of the head either from 500 yards with a 7.62mm or with a .22 against the back of their ear.

While you clap over this officer putting a gun to this man's back and emptying the magazine, I think that officer is going to jail. Everybody loses. Time will tell.

That statement disqualifies you from this debate or quite frankly any other. Your view of the American public is absolutely deplorable. And another thing,....... you arent the only one who ever served, Millions have. Join the club. I can tell you as an absolute fact that most of them dont think the American public are pieces of shit like you do. Furthermore,..... when it comes to the police ,...they are granted MUCH MORE authority over the public then the military ever was. Based upon your statement that is probably a very good thing!
