Lewis, much like Elijah Cummings, was meaningless. Neither one could have been elected to Congress without having a gerrymandered majority of blacks in their districts.

Lewis refused to attend the 2000 and 2016 inaugurations yet was right there puckering up to Obama's black ass in 2008 and 2012.

This is just a way for Donald Trump to try and steal the limelight away from the death of Lewis, just as he did after the deaths of McCain, George and Barbara Bush, Elijah Cummings, John Dingell etc.

Not sure that this is the kind of exposure Donald Trump really wants though- SHOWING HIS UGLY ASS TO THE ENTIRE WORLD!

What limelight? Lewis, like Elijah Cummings, get elected because his district was gerrymandered with a built in majority of blacks.

It's not hateful to point out the facts. Lewis' district was 58% black. That's not by accident or luck of the draw. It was done that way on purpose in order that a black get elected where they'd otherwise not be able to get hired shining shoes at the Capitol.
