Right Wing Song Is Disgusting

Ted Nugent is the "gold standard" for right wing family values. He is best remembered for his one hit wonder about getting venereal diseases from underage girls, but many of his songs involve raping underage children. He certainly does nothing to hide his pedophilia. I mean he openly adopted a child in order to rape her.

But lets look at the lyrics of another one of his songs. It is his favorite song, though most normal people find it sickening.

I mean, if we're going to critique pop culture music, try looking through various rap lyrics. You'll see some of the most misogynistic screeds ever written.

Of course, it's ok when they do it, because they're not usually white. The only time rappers usually get in trouble for writing something is if it is anti-semitic. I'll let people draw their own conclusions for why that is...

Because Jews run the industry.

You're "commenting" because you don't like the liberal criticism of a conservative's song... :|
You've spent most of your time deflecting to rap music and whether or not this is a current event... :)
I think it's strange that a "teacher" won't come right out and condemn the lyrics about illegal sex with minors in the Nugent song....

Keep repeating about "current events" and "two sets of rules" because it shows exactly who you are better than anyone else can...

First of all, it's NOT a "conservative" song. Where you see that, no one could even imagine.

Second, it is rather amusing TOP has become a severe infatuation with you. Why is that?

Third, is this the only song ever written referring to the underage? I think not.

Lastly, you have solidified a permanent front seat in the clown car!

It's not a current event and there are two sets of rules. Doris gave Guano just 14 days for a third rule 12b violation whilst Tinfoil got three months. She also steadfastly refuses to move this thread to the Warzone. As for Ted Nugent, I don't like his music much or him come to that.

Wow, they've been so many so far down the years! Here are a few!

Little Sister: Elvis Presley, Ry Colder, Robert Plant, Dwight Yoakam, Pearl Jam

Young Girl: Gary Puckett and the Union Gap

Christine Sixteen: Gene Simmons

My Sharona: The Knack

Stray Cat Blues: Rolling Stones

Does anybody seriously imagine that Led Zeppelin, the Who, Rolling Stones, Kiss etc. checked birth certificates of groupies?
Elvis Presley dated Priscilla Presley at 14 and Jerry Lee Lewis married a 13 year old.
Jimmy Page kidnapped a 14 year old and lived with her for years.
Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann slept with 13 groupies in one night so legend has it.

I've always thought Springsteen was tasteless, as were his widely publicized politics. But since he has such a following, much larger than Ted Nugent, and Walt seems to be so "offended" by a song, I think I'll offend him with a little Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen's, "I'm on Fire"

"Hey little girl is your daddy home? Did he go away and leave you all alone? I got a bad desire I'm on fire"

Wah, whatcha say, Walt (and any of you other idiot whining libs)? Are you "offended" by "The Boss"?

This is pretty damn tasteless by anybody's standards!

Why don't any of you take it up with Damocles instead of trashing Phantasmal about every little thing? And as far as banning, you know all the mods have to agree on a ban.

Toxic keeps repeating the thread isn't a current event yet when I suggested she report it to Damo she said why would I, and then proceeded to take one of her usual passive-aggressive shots at Phantasmal.

No, the song itself isn't a current event but the topic of pedophilia is, with the Ghislaine Maxwell arrest. Maybe you guys should give a shout-out to all the mods to explain, once again, the thinking behind bans. I for one would like to see them step up and defend one of their own against all the gratuitous insults.

Did you even read my comments?

1. I didn't say it was a "conservative song", I said it was a "conservative's song", i.e. a song written by Nugent, a conservative. Not so hard for most people to understand.

2. Severe infatuation, you have it backwards. You removed the threat where Toxic first started shit with me not long after joining the forum, and continued it over time. Case in point her stupid repetition with no evidence about how I would have been banned from JPP because Goodreads.

3. Neither I nor anybody else said it was the only song ever written about underage girls. You're deflecting because for some reason you don't think songs about underage girls are that bad.

4. Any car that is not occupied by RWNJs is an okay car with me!

Grabjunk lives for trying to manipulate mods and lobbing them into banning lefties.

This sounds like an argumentum ad populum fallacy. Why do celebrities get a pass for doing what's illegal? I've seen months of hissy fit threads where RWNJs post without evidence that Biden is a pedo, yet they all go radio silent when it comes to musicians. It's hypocritical.

It was a topic of the media for a long time, you obviously forgot about the implementation of warning labels, perhaps you are too young to remember? Ice-T was condemned for his anti police lyrics.

Recently, Versatile was criticized for their lyrics.

Older African Americans condemned rap for their mysogyny and their use of racial slurs.

I appreciate your support, thank you.

I’ve grown a pretty thick skinned and I think it’s funny that Tom, knowing Billy, Damo, and Grind, thinks I somehow rule the roost. All three are very well spoken, independent fellows, believe me, I don’t tell them how to think. I respect all of them as moderators, I think passing judgement on moderation decisions without being privy to the discussion is unfair, but we are all use to it and all of us have taken our turn at being the bad guy. I’m the one who still posts here most frequently, plus Tom still has a burr in his butt for things that happened many moons, ago, so he/they are going to blame me for all the perceived injustices.

I do thank you for the support.

You're welcome but they annoy me so much when they act like you're the only mod on the forum. In all the time I've been here I've never seen some of these people slam Damo, Billy or Grind as much as they do you. Maybe it's some kind of solidarity thing among men?
