It's looking increasingly likely. The Minneapolis Star Tribune currently shows Franken up by 97 votes and projects Franken as winning by an 81 vote margin when the challenges are said and done.

I love it, and not because I like Franken, but because so many right-wing blowhards can't stand him. Hilarious.
 
Yeah - I'm no fan of Franken, but it would be worth it just to see O'Reilly try to avoid saying his name when he's involved in a larger issue.

It's also one less Republican that Dems have to convince not to partake in a filibuster.
 
All we need to do is whip most of the Democrats together and get most of the moderates, or all the Democrats and one moderate. Legislating in this admin is going to be a breeze.

If a republican "won" an election after "finding" trunk loads of ballots AFTER the election results had been initially tallied, you people would be raising hell like hell has never known. To think the Democrats were literally able to steal this election in broad daylight, right under the people's noses, is unbelievable. I'm glad you are all crowing so proudly, but I don't ever want to hear a fucking word again, about "stolen" elections.

Coleman tried to steal this one, but he was DENIED!

I am proud of Franken for holding his ground and not letting them snatch this one from the hands of the majority of voters!

exactly and they are using the state's supreme court to hand the election to franken. it is really pathetic to support someone for united states senator simply because the other side of the aisle and bill o'reilly does not like said person.

What...you mean like, "Bush stole the election in 2000?"

He did; his Presidency was never legit, and history will record it that way.
 
The margin of error in counting these ballots was higher than the margin. This race was a statistical tie. I'm glad the Franken "won" because the margin of error turned out in the end to be in his favor, as he was my favored candidate, but anyone who won would've won by chance, instead of the will of the voters.

The only accurate way to take care of the election would be to either flip a coin or hold a runoff between Franken and Coleman.

Actually, you need to work on your reading comprehension. I actually like Franken. I think he'll make a fine Senator. But that's not really why I love the fact that he won. I love the fact that he won because right-wing blowhards can't stand him.

This stuff isn't really that difficult to comprehend.
