There was a lot of internal debate about how to destroy the Poles. One of the plans was to have the Poles speak German, and become German. There are many blond haired, blue eyed Poles that the Germans would have loved to have had. Another plan involved letting the Poles all die from neglect. Most of the food the Poles would grow would be stolen from them, and Poles would be offered some food (but not enough) for working for the Germans. It might take a hundred years, but either way in the end, no more Poles.

As I mention, not anything redeeming about the Nazis. I don't think any good human would want to associate with them.

When you openly carry a weapon, you have to be very careful not to be threatening, which means you cannot protest.

Showing weapons is an implicit threat. You can no more armed protest than you can armed pan handle.

If you ask me for a dollar, that is pan handling (begging). If you point a gun at me, and ask me for a dollar, that is armed robbery. I do not have to withhold the dollar, and get shot to prove it is a threat. The same is true with protesting. If you demand the government changes its policy, while unarmed, you are protesting. If you demand the government changes its policy, while pointing a gun, that is armed insurrection. In short, taking up arms against the US Government does not require you to actually shoot those arms, just take them up.

Are they Nazis or Neo-Nazis or just people who enjoy wearing swastikas to look like Nazis... I guess there is a difference, but all are scumbags, so I do not bother worrying about it much.

Carrying a weapon is not a threat. You can protest while armed and even pan handle while armed. Completely legal.
Brandishing is legal under some circumstances. Just as shooting someone is legal under some circumstances.

You also have the right to defend yourself, even from a rogue government. That does mean no only pointing a gun at them, it also means possibly using them.

All of this applies to any weapon, not just guns.

HIV is not even remotely similar to the Coronavirus, vaccines are designed to boost immune systems by using weakened viruses to initiate antibody production, the problem with developing an HIV vaccine is that it attacks the immune system itself. You don't die from AIDs you die from the common cold because you have no immune system.

A live vaccine is one form of vaccine, but is not the only form of vaccine. There are also dead vaccines where parts of the virus are introduced, and even vaccines where the antibodies are introduced. None of that matters to HIV.

If a vaccine could be developed against HIV, the immune system could attack HIV and kill it. Yes, HIV would be attacking the immune system at the same time, but the immune system could, in theory, win that war. The problem appears to be that as a RNA virus, HIV evolves around a vaccine within a few days. A similar problem happens with Influenza, where the virus evolves around a vaccine pretty much every year, which is why you need a new vaccine every year for a new couple of strains of Influenza.

Covid-19 is also a RNA virus, so evolves quickly. The question is how quickly would it evolve around a vaccine. If it takes a decade, we can eliminate it before then and hopefully get back to picking up the pieces of our economy. If it takes a day to evolve around a vaccine, we are screwed.

A bad sign is seeing a viral load in some patients after we thought they were cured. This suggests that immunity is not long lasting.

Just because we want a vaccine to be able to be developed does not mean that it will be able to be developed. That is just a sad fact.

Lockdowns have obviously had an effect. The unknown is how much of an effect they have had, and what parts have had an effect. We will be trying to figure that out for decades to come. Heck, scientists are still trying to figure out how much effect the lockdowns on Spanish Flu had 100 years ago.

If you remember the Skokie, Ill case in the 1970s the Nazi party wanted to march through the town wearing Nazi uniforms and carrying swastikas. The town of 70,000 had 40,000 Jews and supposedly the largest number of Holocaust survivors outside Israel. The town denied the permit because of threatened violence against the marchers by town residents. The ACLU took up their case and the court injunction against the march was thrown out. The Nazis ended up marching in Chicago, instead. A group of 20 Nazis an 2,000 counter protestors.

But the point is that they had the right to march with uniforms and swastikas.

They broke the rules of the march by marching the day before and attacking graduate students at the local university. The ACLU is rethinking whether they should defend violent groups right to "protest" with violence.

If you make a threat of violence unless their is political or social change, that is called terrorism, and possibly insurrection. You have gone from a minor felony to a capital case.

Off the top of my head, a Nazi would be a member of a group that formed before the death of Hitler, while a Neo Nazi would be a member of a group that formed after the death of Hitler. There are still a few Nazis getting caught from time to time, mostly very old men.

There are even some Nazis that are younger. Sebastian Gorka was trump's deputy assistant. He was also a member of Vitezi Rend a WWII era Hungarian Nazi group. That makes him technically a Nazi, not a Neo-Nazi. He lied about his membership to get US Citizenship, because the US bans any members of this group from getting citizenship. He then openly wore a pin proclaiming his membership within the trump white house.

Gorka most definitely belonged to Vitezi Rend. It is illegal to nationalize as an American if you are a member of Vitezi Rend. Vitezi Rend was not a German organization, it was Hungarian. It is still in existence today.
