This "Doctor" Is Not Even a Nurse

Walt

Back To Reality
I usually don't even bother reading threads I have been banned from, because they are almost always nonsense so bad that the original poster does not feel he can defend them. I usually ignore YouTube videos, because any idiot can make one.

But I actually watched the video that Havana Moon claims is "This doctor says lockdown is a lie". The individual in the video refuses to identify himself, but his grammar is poor. He does not seem to know much about why things are happening, and according to him, no one is interested in telling him. He does not understand that most "virus tests" are actually looking for the RNA or DNA of the virus, or the antibodies that react to the virus. All of this made me begin to question whether he really is a doctor. I mean, how does a medical doctor not know what a "virus test" is?

But then I watched it again, and heard the first claim he made. He said he was a "respiratory therapist". That is NOT a doctor. It is not even a nurse. They are sometimes called nurses, but are in fact less qualified than nurses.

A doctor would typically have 14 years of education, and training after high school. It would not be uncommon for it to be far more, and sometimes it can be a year or two less. But 14 years is a reasonable estimate.

A respiratory therapist has, at most, 2 years of education after high school. He has an associate degree from a community college. If he had a bachelors degree(4 years), he would be a respiratory nurse.

The reason no one is telling him why things are happening is they do not think he would understand, and they do not care about his input. It is the same reason no one is explaining to the janitorial staff.

I hope this helps Havana Moon understand the difference between a highly educated and trained medical professional, and a slightly trained support staff.

They put their pants on the same way we do lol.

I don’t think the lockdown is a ‘lie’ but I think it’s largely pointless in many regions of the country and the mass lockdown will be looked at as an epic cluster F* at some point in the future.

What are your thoughts on it—as a lay person? What are the experts telling you to think?

We are not used to this part of society. We have had a good run of not dealing with contagious diseases, so we grew to think we never were going to have to deal with them. The reality is that we were just lucky (plus a lot of hard work behind the scenes).

Lockdowns and quarantines are part of society. There are hard decisions to be made by how much lockdown, and how much death. But those hard decisions are not going to be helped by the idiots announcing that it is all a hoax or a lie. It is not.

Politicians will say we cannot put a price on human life, but then they will do it anyway. So we will need to work out a price. We will make mistakes, and miss the right amount of lockdown, but hopefully we will try our best.

I would like to see more invested into testing, and contact tracing. That will allow us to mitigate the spread, and more importantly calculate the most optimal lockdown mix.

The important thing to remember is there is NO CURE COMING!!! There might be a vaccine in a year, but that is a long way off. Hopefully, we will help the WHO come up with a best practices treatment that will save lives, but will not be a silver bullet cure.

Poor Walt, once again he shows his ignorance. Does he think those "respiratory therapists" don't learn anything working along side doctors?

"After graduation, respiratory therapists are qualified to work as bedside clinicians, patient educators and advocates, pulmonary rehabilitation specialists, neonatal/pediatric/adult critical care specialists and in management positions in hospitals and alternative care..." "Some prerequisites, such as chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology courses, may be required before beginning a degree in respiratory therapy."

It ain't as easy as wacky Walt thinks it is...

The best hope on the horizon is that COVID is a highly transmissible but weakly virulent Virus that poses only a marginal threat to all but the elderly and infirm. Since it is highly transmissible, it can pose a threat to local healthcare delivery systems in *some* instances.

And guess what? Early serum antibody tests suggest that exact thing.

It is time to adapt to the data. We’ve wasted too much time chasing and fretting over model projections.

They’re consistently wrong.

The truth of the matter is doctors work *with* respiratory therapists in managing patients and I have no doubt they rely on their input from time to time. Well, the smart doctors would. Same with nurses. Doctors would be screwed without them. Healthcare is a team sport.

The best ones learn from each other as they work together and gain experience.
(I know a little of the respiratory department, my Gf knows far more. She's the
Administrative Assistant for the respiratory department at our local hospital)

So a "respiratory therapist" is complaining that no one will tell him what is going on, which he says is a sign of a coverup, and Nazi Bitch thinks that because he works "along side" doctors he has learned how to be a doctor? Well, these doctors are not telling him what is going on. And he does not even know what a virus test is.

But yes, Nazi Bitch should believe someone with an associates degree over real doctors, because I am betting there are a lot more Jewish doctors than Jewish "respiratory therapists."

Clearly they are not seeking this guys input on how to fight Covid-19, or he would be told what is happening.

Oh no, Nazi Bitch is going to tell us how much she is an expert on all things.

Poor Walt, still can't comprehend what experience means. No one, including therapists, ever claim to be doctors. Of course, Walt thinks he knows everything about respiratory medicine.
And now, you claim I believe a therapist over a doctor? Then, you bring "Jewish doctors" into it? You have once again run off the rails in your pursuit to save yourself from looking like a complete buffoon. You failed miserably, and all the name calling and bigotry will not save you.

Poor Walt, still can't comprehend what experience means.

I am sure Nazi Bitch has had all sorts of creepy "experiences", like Nazi gang bangs, and using crystal meth. I would rather take the advice of a doctor who has education and training, than listen to Nazi Bitch's "experiences".

As for being "bigoted" against Nazis... I guess I am.

Walt Shitman is an arrogant cunt, who has a fucking hissy fit because I ban him from my threads, good!

The trouble with you Owl, is you think everyone who disagrees with you is a "Nazi", when really you are more Nazi-like than most. Libs are huge purveyors and consumers, of Nazi-style propaganda.

I am sure you really "felt" like he was a doctor when you made the claim that he was a doctor. I think you might still feel he is a doctor, after all he is wearing "doctor clothing". But you posted misinformation from someone with little education. It is dangerous misinformation when good information is most needed.

I love The Economist magazine, which is a conservative British magazine. I may not always agree with their opinions, but they are well thought out opinions based on real facts. But at the same time, I am not afraid to call a Nazi a Nazi.

WOW!! You're really digging that hole of pure ignorance and stupidity deeper and deeper

So Nazi Bitch is complaining that just because someone does not go to medical school, or have any training, does not mean they are not medical doctors? That she "experience" with drugs and violence that somehow make her a medical expert.

I think I will listen to the real experts instead of her "experience".

So you don't agree they all are working together and need excellent communication and input from each team member?
